I probably think about my next upcoming snack, meal way too often Also, what happened to the French food? I thought he wouldn't want such lowly food as a burger or grilled cheese ![]()

So when she says, 'Lindsey, what am I going to get for room service later?" I wonder if he tries to help. Does he offer suggestions? The thing about Lindsey is, I can't imagine he tells her different things every night. He's not going to be holding hands on the lift, praising salmon one night and proposing chichen fricassee with dumplings the next.

Yep. She even said something about her friends saying that that's effectively what they did and she realized it at the time. Michele

You know how she said they were going down memory lane laughing and crying, telling Karen all these stories. I just imagine Karen tied up against her will
Also, part of me thinks she already has heard a lot of those stories, I mean she's been with Stevie quite some time.

You know what? If I get a chance to talk to Lindsey next time he does a solo tour, this question of the electric skillet is going at the top of my list jk...sorta. This whole Skillet Gate needs to be resolved! We have never heard his side of the story!

Michele, I thik you may be right-- Lindsey listened to her talk about what was so great for her about working with Dave and tried to recreate that experience. I love how she says she'd beg borrow or steal the $5 million to get Chris back. As if after all these years she couldn't just write a check? I mean, if she doesn't have $5 million liquid across however many accounts by now, she should string up her management/accountants!! I recall watching an interview with another of the legendary rock bands.. I *think* it was The Who when asked what they think about -- no, maybe it was Pink Floyd-- when doing the songs they've done over and over and over and over for umpteen decades...and they were honest enough to say they often are thinking about what they are going to have for dinner after the show.... I mean, when u think about it, performing those songs has become so over-learned and automatic it really doesn't require a lot of attention.. I recall Stevie talking about this in the 80s when she was just so burned out from doing too many back to back tours (FMac/solo/FMac/solo) and she said quite honestly, "you could be dead and still stand up there and do those songs" Last edited by bombaysaffires; 01-12-2013 at 10:01 PM.. |

That'll be the new tour story intro-ing the BN song and will become as long as the song by the last night.

Haha yeah, their relationship makes me wish I studied psychology instead. They're a very interesting case. But of course she'd feel more at ease with Dave, like she always says, they don't have that history. I don't think that's a bad thing though. If Stevie and Lindsey started being all chummy and "Hey pal, want to hang out and watch a move?" I'd be very worried. ![]()

sounds familiar? like before 2009 UL tour "we get to have our little affair on the stage and then we go back to our separate lives" or whatever the exact quote was in bunch of pre-Unleashed interviews? but now we have grilled cheese rooms service (huh?) added to it ![]() ![]()
