Lindsey has always been in touch with his feminine side though. I mean maybe she used to see John Wayne back in the old days, but I saw Marion. Michele

An interesting poll now taking place on Facebook "Should Fleetwood Mac release two new songs or a complete album"

Come on over and place your vote:

We have eight songs in the can already, but it seems not all members are on-board with the idea of a complete new album, fans should get together and make their voice heard.......

"I think there’s a little bit of a rationalization there, too, only in the sense that I don’t think she’s got a bunch of new material sitting around."

"The problem right now is that I’ve got like eight songs sitting around, and Stevie hasn’t brought any in. So whether or not that changes down the line remains to be seen."

Lindsey seems to be saying this more often and more directly with each interview. We all know Stevie has tons of old stuff, but nobody really knows what *new* songs she has written even in the past ten years. However, I wonder if Lindsey is intentionally saying this to get under her skin. "Oh Lindsey thinks I can't write any NEW material? He thinks he writes more songs than me?! ME?! The prolific crazy song writer they used to make fun of for writing so many songs!?!?!?!? Well **** you Lindsey! Here's 15 new songs for your goddamn Mac record! Put that in your juicebox and suck it!"

Yes, someone suggested this a couple of weeks ago and I agree with it. Lindsey is making "songs" out of stuff he says he hummed over the phone and he knows good and well that Stevie can do the same, at the very least. Plus, even if her well was dry and she couldn't write a single new song for the rest of her life, she's got loads of old ones that he's never even heard (not counting the old ones he has heard, including popular ones like "The Dealer") she could give to him, if she wanted to put any music of hers onto an FM album.

He's just saying that to get a rise out of her. Instead of interviewing her and getting Lindsey's reaction, the guy should have interviewed Lindsey and gotten her reaction. Since that's what he seems to be aiming for. This is the same stuff he was doing during the SYW promotions, with his, "she never even thanked me" line. He wanted her to hear it and respond and she did, eventually.

That is what I was thinking. She has dozens of demos and unreleased songs, and a good number of them are great and deserve to reworked and released. She did that with her last solo album. (Yes, Stevie...an album...which we bought...your fans still buy your albums, and other people's albums too!).

Stevie's being a a bit of a pill, isn't she? Why is she proclaiming and hammering on that no one wants an album? Artists are still making albums! Hell, even vinyl has had a resurgence. And Rumours is being released yet again!! Where the hell is her head?

I can't understand why any die-hard fan would justify not wanting another Fleetwood Mac album. I rather have that - something more substantive than another cash-grab tour. And I wish they would just get off their asses and re-release the Buckingham Nicks album.

They aren't getting any younger, and I'm completely annoyed with their bull****.

ITA with this and most of you.

Some of the fans may not like this idea but why not release BN and the 6 or so new songs with reworked Without you/Heartbreaker on the 2nd disc. the new/reworked stuff could include John and Mick and be billed as FM.

I have no idea how much it costs to make a new album and package it....but seems it would be cheaper to package this stuff together. Simple solution that would please Mac, LB and SN fans.

I think that would be a fine idea. It would commemorate not only Stevie & Lindsey's start as Buckingham Nicks, but their transition into superstardom with Fleetwood Mac.

I mean, a full FM EP would be ideal. But I wouldn't be opposed to just about anything at this point. I just want new music.

So from this article it sounds like these songs are a "reverse crystal"
