i love me some Imperial Hotel!
and its one of my bf's favorites too. i radomly played it once and hes hooked on it!
Im taking him to see his first Stevie concert ever next month, we have front row to Cincy Aug. 20.
He's having a shirt made to wear that says...."My boyfriend stayed at the Imperial Hotel and all i got was this lousy tshirt"

edit: he asked me to add that he wants to take a big sign too, that says STEVIE SING IMPERIAL HOTEL! lol

gldstwmn, I can't believe these are from a cassette. I'm totally floored. This must have taken a great deal of work. Thank you so much for sharing these with us.

The credit for that goes to Dark Angel. There was so much high end on the HAEWAFY cassette I was worried about how it would transfer. It sounds amazing. The Imperial Hotel cassette is so crisp. I only played it a few times because I didn't want the tape to degrade in any way.

I'm just glad they turned out okay!

I had to experiment a bit with the line-in levels to get the high end down, but it worked...thankfully.

Total thread necro...but I am hoping you will see this. I am wondering why the last file is m4a (Apple lossless audio) instead of WAV like the others. No complaints - just wondering if there is a story here.

I've been backing up files, checking for quality, creating an archive, and this is one of the items on my "research this one" list.

Thank you, Christopher. I don't know why, but it really bugged me that they didn't match.

I actually burned them all to CD this morning so I could make a single lossless image of the disc for storage, but when I get home I'll redo it with this new file (assuming there's no loss of quality). Thanks again!
