Well I have the solo CDs of all 16 (majority of them being a legal shop-bought copy). I'm not quite as bad as someone like John (wetcamelfood) who collects every album that every FM member appears on. That would take dedication.

If there were a couple of new tracks on the album then I'd just buy the new tracks not the whole new album.

Yes I was very glad when Ms Crow didn't join the band, as I really didn't want to go out and buy her stuff...

Heck YES I'd buy a remastered Bella Donna for sure!! I try to collect all the FM/Stevie albums/cd's I can anyway... but Bella Donna is my very favorite one of all! So there is no way I'd not get it. Plus I enjoyed the remastered Rumours and Tusk very much .. well I guess I just want anything I can get my hands on!!

I wish people would stop mentioning this. I would love this, but it's not going to happen. I seriously doubt that Stevie ever comes out with anything new after the disappointing sales of Crystal Visions and the live album.

An album of new original material would sell FAR better then those 2 albums. As great as they are, they're still basically re-issues of mostly previously avaliable material (apart from Crash and Circle Dance.

Trouble In Shangri La sold pretty well and got great revues.

Well this poll is closed but I would DEFINITELY purchase a remastered Bella Donna. In fact I cannot understand why one hasn't been released yet.

Default Entire catalog remastered

I'm sure they will eventually come out with a "Complete Studio Recordings" type of package one of these days like they did for Led Zepplin and ABBA. I was incredibly impressed with the ABBA set. Each album was remastered with coinciding b-sides and bonus material included. And there was an additional cd called "Rarities" which was a catchall for everything else. 2 dvds were also included. One contained every official video and the other had a short documentary and some concert footage. Unfortunately we may have to wait until after Stevie has passed away before she receives that kind of treatment. Or maybe if she would rightfully be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. (Something else that is WAAAAYYYY overdue.)

I would love it if Bella Donna was released as some type of boxed set that included the remastered album, an outtakes CD, and the White Winged Dove tour on DVD, and also include a cool photo book from that Era...with outtakes, etc.

But, I know it will never happen.

Here's what I would include as bonus material:

Blue Lamp
Gold and Braid (Live)
Sleeping Angel
Julia (Outtake)
The Dealer (Outtake)
Gypsy (Outtake)

And then a bonus CD with lots of demos including Lady From the Mountain, All the King's Horses and piano demos of Bella Donna, Kind of Woman and Outside the Rain.

Finally, some alternate versions such as The Highwayman and How Still My Love.

And, of course, round it off with a DVD of the full HBO concert.

Question: Does anyone know if the demos for If You Were My Love and Smile at You that are in circulation are from the BD sessions or if they were recorded with FM?

That's a great idea, and that's why it will never be!

Some great ideas here for a Bella Donna re-issue and yes I would buy it if it contained the material that we've heard and have grown to associate with the album over the years. The full WWD concert would also be a huge treat. Although Stevie's had a great career, such a large volume of her material never saw the light of day (except online ) and there's so many songs that have classic written all over them. Shame they couldn't at least be cleaned up and given their due as an official release.

I wonder who owns these recording since Modern Records has been out of commission for so long? Especially, after all those demos were (supposedly) sold and leaked years ago.

I would not buy a remastered/repackaged BD. It has never been an album I have liked, as a solo debut I thought its production and song choices took Stevie to low-rent territory.

Gone was the goddess with the ethereal aura. Hooking up with Heartbreakers harsh and tacky and, to my ears, totally unsuited to her voice and talent.

Maybe if the songs were all totally redone it would be more worthy of a listen.

It would be great if the HBO show on DVD in the remastered BD collection.

All of you agree the HBO show should of been on DVD.

We are tired of watching those crappy grainy VHS copies plus the crappy blurry YouTube versions.
