Courtney's a massive Stevie fan, so I thought this was kind of sweet.

Thanks for posting these, they are great!
There is a shot I have seen somewhere on-line of a photo of Stevie, Courtney keeps in her NY digs.

Yup! I posted that part because of the adorable quote about Stevie. But here's the first page (No clue why she switched up the paper she was writing on) and here's the polaroid of Barbara and Jess that she sent with the letter.

d,

The quoting confused me a tad bit, but if you're asking how the letter & pic from Barbara got out, if I remember correctly it was sold by Betty's relatives or something
on ebay after her death.

Sorry about that..
I am always thrilled to get a small glimpse of something from Stevie's private side, but then there is also this bit of a guilty feeling for intruding. Never seems to stop me from reading it though......

Thanks again, d

On the first page of that letter she writes, "Here's her first one - told you that you might be a little shocked!" And then notes how her and Jess are clothed in their photo Do you think she sent Betty a picture of the BN cover?

It makes me sad though that Betty's family would auction her private letters

Did she write, " a snap of Jess & me fully clothed!?"

Probably so. Very funny.

When were they ever trying to make it in NY? All I've ever heard was LA, LA, LA, San Fran, Janis, Jimi, LA....

Paper is different because she wrote on the back of the first sheet.

Buckingham Nicks played in NY in Feb. 1974. They opened for Steve Martin at The Metro.

Apparently they did several NE dates from Feb. 18 - Mar. 1.
