16. Frozen Love
17. Crystal - Bring in band - noooo. plus again, hasn't this song been done live before?

17. I Don't Wanna Know
18. That's All For Everyone (Replaces Tusk) - noooooo! and wow? how can this song replace Tusk?????
19. Sisters of the Moon - yes!!
20. Tango In The Night (Replaces I'm So Afraid) - no, do both
21. Go Your Own Way

22. Blue Letter - noooo! not even written by FM, done live a lot already... why waste good space?
23. Don't Stop

I agree Dreams should be dropped but I knew it wasn't likely. Same goes for Rhiannon. In terms of the others ISA and BL are great but they have been done way too much. Even if you are a casual fan by now I am sure most people have heard these songs that he could bring out something else that showcases his skills. Heck I would enjoy hearing Murrow if not Tango. Tusk live bores me and what I meant by replacing it is that something else from Tusk could replace it so I chose an obscure one. I also included Seven Wonders because a) I love that song and b) BL can't be the only Tango song they do in concert anymore. I know they didn't write Blue Letter but they haven't done it in a while so I thought of bringing something from that album they haven't played to death. I also went with Say Goodbye as I liked the arrangement from the Say You Will Tour. As for GDW it is a great song but she doesn't do it well live anymore imo. SYW version was brutal. The unleashed tour version was better. I guess my main point is that allot of songs I dropped I did so because they have been overplayed and if this is the last go around. I would rather here songs I haven't heard before vs the same old same old. I hate the song Not that Funny but if he did live next year I wouldn't mind as it is something I have not heard live before.

I guess our tastes are different but that is ok with me. You can't please everybody.

^^ Haha, well I guess I'm a blasphemer too then. I much prefer Frozen Love to Crystal

I love these lists! I'm sort of amazed at how different our tastes can be! But that's really neat that they are!

Okay so here would be my dream set list. Bare in mind that my poor little soul has never had the pleasure of seeing FM perform live

*The Chain
(The rest are in no particular order, that would take way more thinking on my part lol)

*Oh Well
*Rhiannon - Love to see her do something different with this, give it new life!
*Landslide - Because you have to, I'm pretty sure it's a universal law!
*I'm So Afraid
*Never Going Back Again - Because it's just beautiful, that's why.
*Dreams - Again, I understand many have heard these standards numerous times, but honestly it's one of those songs which can never bore me.
*Sisters of the Moon
*Angel - Out of them all, this ranks in the top 5 of songs I want to see performed! I'd flip out if it actually happened!
*Walk a Thin Line
*Gypsy
*Straight Back
*Big Love
*Tango in the Night
*Silver Springs - I will cry if they do not do this. It is flippin well tradition! lol
*Bleed to Love Her
*Thrown Down
*Say Goodbye - I absolutely adore this song! I think their harmonies are beautiful and every time I watch them sing this on the Boston DVD I tear up.
*Destiny Rules - One of my favorite SYW songs
*Frozen Love
*Crying in the Night
*Sorcerer - Yes, Trouble in Shangri-La, but originally sung with Lindsey and I love that version that's floating around the internet.
*Shut Us Down - Love it when he sings this one live!

You may have noticed I didn't include GYOW. I actually do like what he does with the song live, but to me it's the most overplayed of all their songs. Sorry Lindsey! I can definitely leave GDW out if they play SOTM. And even though I love Tusk on the album, I've never been thrilled by the live performance of the track, besides that will force them to come up with some new routines

I tallied everything up and that gives Stevie lead on 7, Lindsey 9, both 6 - at least how I envision the songs being sung. I think that's pretty fair

we completely agree there! check my list few posts above and see what you think about some of those choices... but in any case not much of the same old same old in there.

nicely said about how neat it is that all our lists seem so different.

i like most of your list - we have a lot of overlap on the never or rarely played live songs / deep cuts! (i bolded the ones you listed above that i would go with too.)

but - and that's one big but - you want to deprive people of strumming lindsey's guitar during GYOW?!?!?!? impossible, GYOW is usually such a lovefest with the audience!

hehe i knew that would be controversial! and honestly, i think part of it was my own experience with him performing the song solo. i know that typically it's supposed to be the audience lovefest, but i was absolutely incensed when the audience didn't go nuts at my concert! i mean, if you couldn't get on board with some of his other songs, you should at the very least be happy with that! hence, no guitar strumming for the audience - i think overall the audience was okay, but could have been a bit more lively to say the least :/ sooo since they didn't have the energy for GYOW it just felt sad... of course, i'm sure at an fm concert the masses will rave for it

i like that you're with me on angel! i think i watch the tusk performance of that song at least once a week it always makes me wanna dance and sing along!

I kinda like this set but find World Turning a bit annoying. Stick Thrown Down or Miranda in its place and say YES!

probably my favorite BN track.

we should probably mark up the songs on our wish-setlists that were rarely or never played before to figure out how many songs average we'd like to see.

In my dreams their entire set would be revamped. They have no new material to perform, so I wish they would revisit songs they haven't performed in a long time, or songs they never performed. And why on earth would anyone want them to continue opening their shows with The Chain? Yes, it's been a great opener, but it's become so predictably rote and stale. A new tour should have a new approach, a new sequence, and not feel too overly familiar.

1. Don't Let Me Down Again
2. Seven Wonders
3. I Don't Wanna Know
4. Miranda
5. Angel
6. Can't Go Back
7. That's Alright
8. Big Love (full band)
9. Gypsy (acoustic)
10. Walk A Thin Line
11. Oh Well
12. Destiny Rules
13. Trouble
14. Crystal
15. Twisted
16. Sisters Of The Moon

encores:

17. Tango In The Night
18. Frozen Love
19 The Chain

I like the idea of closing with The Chain a lot. And I really like this set list (although realistically I don't think they'd ever play a show without Dreams, GYOW, or Rhiannon)

nice!!

personally, although i wouldn't wanna hear about half of these songs, respect to you for trying to put together the complete revamped list!

i'm not sure why would you add Trouble????? yes, FM never performed it, but until recently you could never ever get LB's solo set without it, and i'm all for him dropping Trouble from solo set! and really don't need it popping up in FM set instead!!

unlike Go Insane, where both full band and solo versions are just divine and so different, i don't like full band Big Love version at all, and don't wish to ever hear it. i'm puzzled by all the love and wishes expressed for the full band version of that one... maybe people want to hear whether SN would be in for joined grunts?

i like the idea of Gypsy acoustic, like SN and LB did perform a couple of times before.

i would have to put some thought into how my completely revamped list would look. also, i've never heard FM live - so there are some songs that i'd definitely want to hear even though they performed them a lot - Chain, Oh Well, Silver Springs, GDW.

of course, i've heard most of LB's hits solo, either in one-man or a full-band versions, so i can live without at least some of them.

LB did have some shortened solo gigs (5-6 songs) where he didn't perform GYOW... although now when he figured out how to perform it even when alone, probably not happening anymore. but he always, always performs Big Love and NGBA, i believe.

similarly, i think SN probably always, always performs Rhiannon and Dreams (not sure about Landslide?), no matter whether her set is 5 songs or a full set, but someone can correct me if this is wrong. i would LOVE for FM to drop Rhiannon and Dreams, and wouldn't mind dropping of NGBA.

GYOW - as i sad before, it's just such a lovefest at about 2/3 of LB's solo shows, that i would hate not to have that.

ok, so this is just my list that i posted few days ago, with bolded songs that were either never performed as FM, or rarely (like only on 1 tour), and filling in SN songs i added as an edit. plus 1 addition (that i know they will NEVER ever perform as FM b/c it is still available just as a bootleg). in no particular order:

The Chain
Oh Well

LB songs:
Bleed to Love Her
Second Hand News
That's The Way Love Goes (solo song; In Our Own Time would be also great instead - or it can replace Tusk!)
Tusk
Big Love
Walk A Thin Line
What Makes You Think You're The One
Red Rover
Murrow
Tango
Come

I'm So Afraid
Go Your Own Way
Deep Dense!! (i can go in the semi-BN category, kinda like Twisted and SA)

(so, 14 LB songs, out of those 4-5 regularly performed with FM in the past)

SN songs:
Gypsy (acoustic)
Landslide
Storms
Angel
Beautiful Child
Gold Dust Woman
Silver Springs
Stand Back (Stevie Nicks song - if she needs something rocking)
Destiny Rules
IYD song choice (leaving it up to SN fans)
SA (??)
Twisted (w/ LB)
Sisters of the Moon
Say You Will

(so, 14 SN songs, but 2 with LB; and 4 performed regularly with FM in the past)

CM song:
Don't Stop

BN songs:
Stephanie
Frozen Love (although not my first BN choice...)
IDWK (i can live with that
Crystal (i'm conceding you all this one! and i don't care who sings it, should prob be SN)
