Did you know that Kenny Loggins originally intended to sing Whenever I Call You Friend with Melissa Machester? He asked Melissa if it was ok that he sing it with Stevie instead, and Mel graciously oblidged.

Yes, Melissa Manchester cowrote the song with him. She should of been upset.
