Try as I might, I just can't picture Alanis Morissette as a "rocker" so I'm a bit baffled as to why she's on that poll in the first place Go Stevie go!

Placed my vote for Stevie. I pretty much like all the ladies in the poll. Debbie and Pat are very good live. I'm surprised Joan Jetts votes are so low, she really rocks in concert.
Funny back in the late 90's I gave Alanis Morissette a ride from the hotel I was working at in San Diego to the other end of the property. She seemed really nice.

How cool & lucky you to have spent a few min's with Alanis, i was a big fan back then, also went to her concert in 98, she was fantastic..

I love all of the wonderful women on this list, but Stevie will always be the one and only Queen Of Rock. But, I really do appreciate all of the women on the list that are still making music, and writing their own music (which many artist do not). They are all on my favorites list.

I am also baffled by Morrissette being included in here. I find her to be absolutely horrible.

I hate to see Janis Joplin polling so low.
Based on their popularity, I would expect to see Tina Turner or Sheryl Crow before Alanis on this kind of list, not that I would vote for any of them.
