I don’t think it’s overstepping to associate guitarist Lindsey Buckingham so completely with what we all know (and hopefully love) as Fleetwood Mac. I wrote 3,000 words listening to “Go Your Own Way” on repeat last night. So it’s with very a heavy heart that I must tell you that the man’s solo show in Fort Worth tonight finally sold out, at some point between yesterday late afternoon and this morning. No Lindsey Buckingham for you Last-Minute Minnies.

RAB is never in the setlist - unless you add it in!

can't wait for reports and pics after the show! (there are some tweeted pics already but i'll wait to post them all together after)

We got ROCK AWAY BLIND!!!! He said he thinks a conspiracy because everyone asks for that song. It was a great show. He was in great voice and prime shape. It was over way too soon. He didn't talk much. Just before Big Love, Seeds We Sow, and I'm sure I'll remember more and post when I do

Lightbulb Rock Away Blind Folks!!

Yes, he did RAB and he added some flourishes to some of the songs I've not heard. Although, granted, I stayed away from a lot of video prior to seeing the show to be more surprised.

I got most of RAB on video and will try to upload tomorrow on YT or something. Another Ledgie got the entire thing on her phone.

Pics and stuff to come. I got to meet LB again after the show. His manager?/driver? had us line up outside and LB signed autographs and took pics for about 15 minutes I'd say. Everyone (25-30 people?) went away with both. I had gone to the venue beforehand and waited for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. LB showed up and the three of us waiting were told by the manager/driver guy that it was a bad time....so I went back to my parent's house and went back to the venue for the show later.

Show was AMAZING and man, what a tiny venue the Cendera Center is!! I saw a couple of people from work, which was really cool. One in particular is in my group at work! LOL I had no idea he was going to the show.

He did a cool thing at the end of Shut Us Down that I'd not heard before but unfortunately, I didn't video it. I need to listen to some other vids to see if he's been doing that the entire time. Some people on the front row (are ya'll Ledgies?!) put a sign up (I have a pic of it) that said "Welcome to Fort Worth Lindsey. Please play Rock Away Blind." LOL He said it was a conspiracy and everyone wants to hear "this damn song." HA! He played it and gave the disclaimer of it being "rough" prior. Whatever, it was BEAUTIFUL.

After he did Come...he said "You like the rock and roll?" in a funny voice. Has he done that at other shows?

I took my usual Lindsey Rules sign and put it up at various times. He saw it after one of the songs and pointed at me and gave me a terrific smile. I also held up my SWS album and he pointed at it and went "Ahhhh."

After he did Stephanie, I yelled out "Thank you, Lindsey, for Stephanie!" and another guy said "When is that album coming out?" I cannot remember the exact banter! CRAP! Man, I hope someone can help me out with what he said exactly word for word. I suck at remembering. LOL

AMAZING crowd at FW...I was shocked. After seeing Bass Hall and how lazy and boring the crowd was (sans a few of us die-hards), tonight was ROCKIN'. He was giving it his all and then some.

More to come when I can remember things. I will post pics later. I need to go back out and meet up with some folks. Be back!!

That's terrific that he did RAB. With everyone asking for the same song it concentrates the odds it will get played. If there were 10 different ones that people were begging for, the impact would be dilluted.

That's funny that someone asked him when's that album coming out.

Sounds like a great time.

Default Pics!

Here are the pics I took. I didn't take my camera out until towards the end of the show during GYOW.

Cool The sign that got us RAB!

This is one of the signs that the three people in the front row put up on the stage. The other was 3 sheets of paper that said Rock Away and Blind on them.

What a great night in Ft. Worth!! Christy, you did such a great job describing this show!! Your pics are so good!! And yes, I did get a full version of RAB and Lindsey's conversation prior to the song. His face is washed out a lot just because my iPhone hated the stage lighting but it sounds AWESOME! I'll get it up today. :-) As well as some of my pics!!

can't wait to hear this most spectacular RAB version he ever did according to people who were there (and who have heard it live before!) - great job getting him to do it everybody!!

yeah but people have to be loud and obvious in their demand!! for example, in Austin, Louie said that he *thinks* someone may have requested it?! and according to the show pics, Louie was way upfront. if he didn't hear it, almost nobody heard that request. apparently LB wants the request to be clear to everybody - and it has to be loud! at the two shows i was at that LB has done RAB, there was no doubt by anybody in the hall about what numerous people were requesting. so lots of credit to all who did it in Ft Worth!!

So cute. And it really is a conspiracy now, of RICO proportions. We have to delete the Ledge proof if Lindsey launches an investigation.
