Yeah, she was the senior and he was the junior.

Nico, in Anne Heche's book, she said something similar about Lindsey. He was in his forties at the time and older than her, but she told a friend he didn't look old, old, like a wrinkly guy preying on an innocent girl. He still looked good to her -- and why wouldn't he? He was only like 41 then.

Plus, the way she described it, he didn't come on to her like a leche, wasn't prowling for a young woman. He was minding his own business listening to a cassette labeled "Drums" and she started asking him if he was a drummer. He kind of laughed and said not exactly. He didn't tell her he was with Fleetwood Mac and say, "I'm a millionaire, guitar God." He was cool.

My favorite Lindsey period, bar none, is during OotC, which is around the time Ms. Heche got him. So she should feel so lucky, hmph! But, yes, I will say that he looks great for his age. I was reading some comments from a troll on youtube in the "Carrie Underwood/Lindsey Buckingham" performance from the Fashion Rocks event and seriously got a little irked. Even when it's a troll, they still have power with some of the words they use- saying Lindsey looks like he "belongs in a nursing home" and he should "go home to his young wife and grandchildren." I mean, honestly.

I have a very different viewpoint of age than many I encounter. I'm truly floored by older people and the wisdom many of them possess. I don't think I know enough about life until I've heard someone older tell me something they experienced years before the 80s. In other words, aside from everything I adore about Lindsey, his age makes him a lot more attractive to me because he's come a LONG way from what he was. And he's seemingly content, has a beautiful family, and is still out there doing something he believes in and enjoys doing. Something that gives him his own worth. So whatever.

On a light note, nice to see him in one different article of clothing at least.

[QUOTE=Nico;755532]Imagine them at Kristen's age. Lindsey looks great. He looks like he's aging naturally- no nip/tuck, no bad dye job.[QUOTE]

Was that aimed at Billy Burnette?

Nope. Don't really follow him enough to care. More aimed at Paul Macca. It's just a shame what he's done to himself.
