The other site, "The Chain", also disappeared. I even FB messaged the host, who was a former member here(who was bant for a really dumb reason), and got no response.

I guess band fan sites are becoming a thing or the past? Or we're all following some geriatric, dinosaur band?

Yes, you're right. I've heard there's even a private FM board.

Honestly, I think the Mac fan community is shrinking over all. A decade ago the Ledge had twice as many members. But the band has been so inactive for so long, that it hasn't recruited any new fans, and existing ones have stopped caring.

That is what I was thinking. Their fanbase is shrinking. Fleetwood Mac really needed to make a mark in the 1990s. In a way, they did with the dance, but it was with old music. Their fanbase is also dying out.

I also think that FM/Stevie have chased most of their fans away with their repetiveness. It's us diehards who spread the word but do we really want to when we're bored with the same old same ole?

I totally agree. Sad to say really it is the 'bands' fault. Stevie & Mac could've kept us all interested if they'd release alot of 'stuff' that we've wanted over the yrs instead of doing nothing & ignoring us or so it seems. Heck I've always thought us die hard fans have had much better ideas of what to put out there than the band or Stevie solo herself. Its sad but so true. I used to be as 7 Wonders web site but didn't like it much anymore so I stopped login & just came here instead. Its sad but I guess were all a dying breed anymore. IMO

Let's face it, their career is winding down. I mean, I hope they all live another 20+ years, but they're approaching 70...

I hope you don't mind that I changed your quote? Is The Ledge going to continue or is Michele considering shutting it down? Do we need more supporting members?
