As much as I love my Stevie (and dislike Carey) ...Carey will bring in millions of viewers...Simply, because of the potential "train wreck" factor...If you ask the average 17 yo who Stevie Nicks is, they will say...who is HE?

Oh, you'd be surprised. The average 17 yo knows who Fleetwood Mac is. Ergo, it would make sense that they would know who Stevie Nicks is as well.

Sorry, but I think it was MOSTLY those "average 17 yo" that watched both AI and Glee that put a number of Stevie's AND Fleetwood Mac's albums in the Top Ten for a couple of weeks after they were on the show/showcased on the show.

Remember...25% of all The Beatles' "#1's" sold were to buyers UNDER the age of 21!

and you think Stevie will? Again, Im not a Carey fan but Google how many cds that Carey has sold in the last twenty years compared to Stevie I would love to see Stevie as a judge but television producers base these decisions on who attracts viewers...Stevie won't...If Carey becomes a looney tune or a train wreck like Paula did...trust me, it will bring in million of viewers..(and the producers are betting on it)

I love both Stevie and Mariah, and I think Stevie would be a great Idol judge (if she had the time). However, I don't think it will happen. I do think Mariah will be great, though.

That is so awesome to hear! Young men with good taste!

She probably would hate having to hurt someone's feelings when they have to choose people. But that would be wonderful.
