agree! and nobody's being chided for venting if you read through what was said.

my comments were purely on generalizations that were drawn on the basis of 1 experience. but i have mathematical brain. i understand that artists may feel differently.

we all have the right to say how we feel. you do the same as i do.

Nashville is a weird town anyway because everybody and their mom wants and expects passes. I was surprised it was even offered here for the audience. I think that was a bad call on management's part just because the amount of potential people he'd know that want a shake and howdy on top of those that pay for it.

And to be honest, these experiences weren't even really that negative. I could tell you horror stories about M&Gs, chance meetings, working with some people in the recording industry...
to all of this!

I love how you just lurk around the Lindsey forum until someone says something bad about LB and then you can't pounce on it fast enough! Mayb - MAYBE - Lindsey was just having a bad night, or not feeling good, or his hands really were hurting, or maybe he just wasn't into it that night. It happens. Does it suck? Yes. But, it happens. No one is on all the time. We all have bad days. He is gracious to a fault on most nights. Night after night, after night. He's entitled a bad night. I'm sorry Ryan and Nancy didn't have the experiences they had hoped for - and I appreciate the class they have shown in relating those experiences without resorting to trash talk.

Seriously, the only time you jump in over here is when you see an opportunity to piss on our cornflakes. Good for you. You seem to really hate Lindsey. Wallow in it if you must, but do us (me, anyways) a favor and wallow somewhere else.
He's not my favortie person, but hate him? You don't know what you're talking about. I don't only come here to pounce on bad things people say. I guess you weren't aroud when I praised his new album to the skies?

Lately I haven't read much to crow about regarding LB, but where do you get off with your attitude because I've shown support for fans who felt dismissed by his holiness? I admit he's been nice to me too, but I'm not making excuses when he's an ass to other people. Maybe if you took your Bucky blinders off for a sec, you'd see how his behavior was questionable to more than one fan, and how you're being rude now, too?

Ok, I'm at fault for pissing in your cornflakes because I showed other fans outspoken sympathy at Lindsey Buckingham's expense. You don't see anything wrong in how LB made fans feel bad. Ho-K.

but the 2 quotes above are really completely unjustified. good money? charging to a boot? $100? (or $125) ? i'm sorry guys, people his caliber would charge an arm an a leg for just the cheese-smile pic, and he doesn't. at his M&G, he gives you personal time too and not just have the staff rush you through a pic and an autograph.

yes, some people may feel better about these then others. i went to 3 of these and each experience was different. i told Nancy how i felt after the first one, and it turned out i was completely wrong! but - he was EXTREMELY nice at all 3 of them, whether rushed or not.

so PLEASE stop posting crap like he should stop doing these b/c you don't like them... he didn't charge you $800 for them, so you lost nothing if you went and didn't get what you felt you deserve (and yes Ryan does deserve a bit more, but obviously, LB doesn't know it and you can't really blame him for it). if you didn't like it, well don't do it again. others will jump at the chance!

in my experience you get to really tell him 1 thing in the time you have allotted - so choose before the M&G what you REALLY want to say to him, b/c there's a good chance you won't have a chance to "hang out" at the M&G - that's not how it's structured, and i assume most M&Gs aren't, even for much more money.
All your outrage at me, and your excuses in defense of LB, doesn't change the fact that he made fans feel bad. All you care about is how their reactions to it, and how mine in particular, have made the Lindsey worshipful feel bad.

People say Stevie fans are touchy.

Yours wasn't personal? I didn't tell you not to post when I didn't like what you wrote.

i poked in the holes in your argument. what i got back was that i defend LB mindlessly.

i'll hold off on those kisses, thank you.

EDIT i'm reading my quote you inserted and i don't see anything personal there. it was a reply to what you said. you generalized from 1 experience that somehow became hordes of people - and you just did it again - and advised LB that he should not do any more m&gs. i disagreed. i want him to do meet and greets and i know many others appreciate them too.

If you thought that was an argument you've never met my wife.

1) I stand by my original post. You do sound like you have a major chip on your shoulder.

2) I like my Bucky blinders just fine so I'll keep them on for now

3) My issue with you wasn't that you came to someone's defense - someone that didn't need defending, btw - but that that's pretty much the only time you post in the LB forum. My issue with you is that you seem to relish the chance to jump on the negativity bandwagon. If I missed your defense of Seeds We Sow it's because I've stopped looking when I see your name here, as I've come to expect soemthing negative when I do see it - and you rarely prove me wrong.

4) I don't defend Lindsey being rude - if he was. I'm just saying, as Elle pointed out earlier, that to judge someone on one night out of 100s doesn't seem right to me. Nancy and Ryan have a right to be upset, if they are, but that doesn't mean that nobody should bother with meet and greets. Especially when many other fans have had such wonderful experiences. What I said was everyone has bad days. I'd feel bad too if I caught one of those bad days with Lindsey, but I wouldn't feel the need to trash him for it. Especially not if I'd had other good experiences with him, as you say you have.

In my own case, I just want to say that while I appreciate your sympathetic response, actually my experience overall was good! My embarrassment stemmed from my own behavior.

BTW, here's a photo of my signed CD with the little heart.

That really was how I interpreted your original post. I'm sorry if I came across as not caring...I sure didn''t mean to. Your CD is sweet!! Love the heart

1) I stand by all my posts.

2) Rock Away Blind if that's what turns you on.

3) There's a nicer alternative than demanding I stop posting. You can always put me on ignore. Ask the moderators if you don't know how.

4) I'm not judging anyone on one night. LB has a well earned reputation I didn't give him. I also don't think it's too much for fans to expect his attention, or at the very least, to show some humility, when fans meet him for a few measly minutes. Nashville isn't the only night he acted like he was too busy to meet fans. He's done that at other meet and greets not discussed in this thread, but I guess that doesn't matter. Until he makes you feel bad, you can keep making excuses. He never made me feel bad, but I'm still not making any. He shouldn't do meet and greets if he can't meet fans without giving them the impression it's an imposition. Please put me on ignore if you don't like me saying so.

interesting. I would wonder if he has a hearing problem like Mick, but when he's on stage he seems to hear people in the audience fairly well, even when there's surrounding chatter.

This reminds me of that video of him and Chris sharing a mic and she's talking to him and he's screaming, "What?! What!"

1) I will, and it does.

2) No, you haven't bothered me enough yet. Keep trying if you like...or not. And yes, I know how, but thanks.

3) I've heard of his "reputation" with some people, some times. I don't hear many bad things from fans, or anyone else for that matter though, at least not for the last 20 years or so. And not enough to make me think less of him. I don't judge him on anything but who he is today, and these days he's making a lot of fans very happy.
