Stevie's trending on Twitter. I think because of what she said about Fleetwood Mac in this interview. I mentioned in the Rumours forum that people tweeted that Mac should perform during Halftime at the Super Bowl next year.

I think they should in celebration of Rumours 35 year anniversary. NFL pays for the stage. It would be crazy!!! Strobe lights during The Chain solo...ah...

Shall we petition?

Yeah, twitter is blowing up about Fleetwood Mac and Stevie. Both of them were trending earlier.

It would be AWESOME for FM to play the super bowl.

I agree about FM at Super bowl 2013.I have no idea when the league picks the entertainment for their Super bowl halftime shows.

They probably play hits like Landslide,Dreams to name a couple.

And witness the utter lack of chemistry and/or interaction between Erica Hill (who I believe has the most symmetrically perfect face I have ever seen) and Gayle King; they are practically seated in different zip codes. It's quite a contrast when compared with the informal, warm, personable vibe given off by the FOX morning program. What Gayle needs to realize is that this is Stevie Nicks, not the president of Syria. She needs to save her "gotcha!" style of interrogation for someone who has actually served a legitimate public disservice. I suspect that her interview style would be drastically different if she was speaking with someone on the list of "Oprah-approved" performers, e.g., Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Cher, etc. Unfortunately Oprah really doesn't get Stevie and accordingly she gets treated with the same level of respect as the Octomom.
It would have been much better if Erica Hill did the interview. She was fantastic on CNN. I'm sure she's regretting the decision to leave AC360 now.

I hope they wouldn't play Landslide and Dreams. I was thinking like Second Hand News and Go Your Own Way. I'd love the band to get this kind of attention.

How long of a set does the half-time performer get?

I reckon they'd definitely play The Chain.

The Chain
Don't Stop
GYOW

Maybe a number with Katy Perry and another one with Keith Urban.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

If I never hear Don't Stop again, it will be too soon.

But I suspect the masses enjoy it...

I think they get about 13 minutes. I think Second Hand News, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, and Don't Stop would be the perfect set. Madonna cut her songs a bit and I think that worked out fine. She performed 4 songs. I think Mac could manage that but keep the solo in The Chain...it would be perfect for lighting effects And of course in GYOW

i watched the interview , it looked like to fans trying to get their questions asked , like at her meet and greets. Gayle did say she saw the show maybe she is a huge fan and is still star stuck by her and it was all nervous tension

Cool Well .. For What's Its Worth..

Well .. For What's Its Worth..
Thought I would drop this in .....
VH1 Classic is showing Part 3 of the 1983 US Festival tonight, where Stevie closes...
Worth watching!

And I don't think excitement had anything to do with Gayle King's awful interview yesterday. It was just lame and classless and really very sad and very bad.

Oh and BTW... Happy Birthday Christine McVie...
And yes Olive.... I know is not the Christine McVie forum.......

Stevie's people have never said not to ask about the drugs in the last 20 years. Why would they start now? I don't think she minds talking about them. Plus, even though CBS This Morning's ratings aren't that great, Stevie's people are hardly in a position to be dictating to the show. It would be easy enough on them to pass on her. They'd probably bend over backwards for Katy Perry, but not Stevie.

I've seen Stevie look like a question has caught her by surprise quite often. I suspect the questions are the same because interviewers are lazy and pull from the list given to them, but it has appeared to me in the past that some unexpected queries have been launched at her a few times, all the same.
