Well if "age ain't nuttin' but a number" then that applies to Stevie too.
Some are much to quick to bash her and call her old. Don't ever write Stevie off. Just when you think she has nothing left, she does. I know Lindsey loves his wife. That doesn't mean he views Stevie as some dried up old crone just because she's 55. I certainly hope he's not that shallow. I know he sees the beauty there and appreciates it. And I'm not talking about sex at all. If she were to find a younger man, people would hassle her about that, too. I guess she just can't win. -Sharon

I hope Stevie DOES find a man!! Young, her age or older, doesn't matter....but honestly, I don't think she WANTS a man. JMO.

I don't think she does either. She's happy to be independent and to be doing her own thing. But at the end of the day (the end of the night, haha), end of the tour, whatever...it's got to be pretty lonely sometimes to be Stevie. I hope she is happy, whatever her choice.

..........AND if anybody's gonna be doing any laughing all the way to the Bank, I hope that person realizes they've got Mama Nicks to thank for half of the balance in the account!
So there! -Sharon

Oh no! Not Sharon Celani! Our Sharon/Sulamith made a comment earlier in this post that I was commenting on. Sorry to confuse you!

![]() Oh, and I suppose people can frequently raise the topic of Stevie's weight but when we mention THEM it's like, so *taboo* I love the music, but it's hard to deny that this doesn't go with it. It's not like any of us have ever suggested they go offstage a nail each other...krikey...where's my cotton ball? Stand back!
