Vanessa Carlton opens again

[Blueletter18]

I was at the Detroit show last night, and I really enjoyed Vanessa Carlton! I'm glad she's been doing her own thing and not caving to pressures of the industry. I listened to her Rabbits on the Run album in its entirety last night after driving home from the concert. Stevie was wonderful, even better than last year! She talked a lot while introducing the songs, and she seemed more relaxed than last year. I'm glad that Ghosts are Gone is back! Her voice is in great shape, and I have a new appreciation for the vocals on In Your Dreams. It's a shame she's not just doing all solo shows this year- I will NEVER understand the logic behind the Rod Stewart pairing.
