LOVED this show! It was my 3rd time seeing Stevie solo and probably the best. She sounded excellent! I took a lot of pics and I'll upload some this week During the intro conversation she said something like she was in the land of Chocolate and she was doing kiss noises into the microphone and saying those were her chocolate kisses to us. She did it again at the end of the night as well...ADORABLE!! Also, like it was noted, "Ghosts Are Gone" was...well, gone. I was a bit surprised, but overall the show was great

Happy birthday Regina!
love, blackcat
Thanks for posting..I'm about halfway through and it's great footage! Much like what Stevie said from the (2nd??) night about how she is trying to show her personality more and laugh..etc..
As Dreams22 posted, after Rock & Roll she cracks up at herself for saying, "Well what do say to a chocolate city?!" then.."no don't even go there!" as the audience laughs along with her. And another great comment after Stand Back on how they dug out the original cape.
We're only a few shows in and I have NEVER heard Stevie genuinely laugh this hard and THIS much through smiling at her shows in a very long time, if not ever. I am SO proud of her for letting go a bit and feeling our love..while reciprocating it right back.

Off to view the rest of the show..

Yes,she is letting her hair down, sort of speak, maybe more than ever. I love to hear her talk between songs. It's so unlike most artist.

Too bad about the loss of Ghosts are Gone - wouldn't it make a great starter instead of Rock n' Roll?!

Thank you, Ms. Blackcat.
I'm so glad you all had fun. It sounds like it was a terrific show (although, I want her to put Ghosts back in).

Can't wait for Atlantic City's show.

Absolutely. This best fits as the opener to the IYD tour.

I was at this show and security said they had to be done by 11. At 1030, she just finished up Landslide and so I am almost certain they dropped GAG to accommodate getting EO17 and Love Is . EO17, even without Lenny, still is like 16-17 minutes long because Jimmy is doing a drum solo still.

Performance wise, this show was great and right up there with the NYC area shows. Being lucky enough to go to the first few shows, i recognized this show was running about 2 h 10 min and since she didn't go on at Hershey till just about 9, something had to give. That and she is really giving quite an intro to SA and Moonlight and AL which personally, i wouldn't trade for anything because her chatter has been one of the highlights on this tour so far.

I must add I was beyond dissappointed with this venue. My front row left center seat was more like left field at a ball park, and not how it was advertised. No where did it say partial obstruction or anything. We couldn't see more than half the stage, not to mention the 8 ft high stage left us without any possibility for an edge walk. Then there were rumors that she was going to come down from the stage to the ground to do an edge walk, and this was even confirmed by multiple security personnel, but that too was canned, possibly due to time, although to be honest I would have been shocked if she would have done that just because of the safety factor, especially after the grabbing incident the night before at the Beacon.

I hope to hear GAG is back in Detroit!

Stop at 10:30? I thought cerfew was 11pm.Ok How was security with the photo taking.
At JB and PNC they did not give a crap about photo taking or atlease in my section. they didn't.If thats the case if she got to lop songs out for time maybe she should dump the opening act or have them lop tunes out of their setlist instead.

No, I was saying at the 1030 mark, there was not enought time to make the 11pm curfew if they tried to play GAG, EO17 and LI, so they dropped GAG....all speculation, but i hope that is true.

PNC hands down was the best security of all the shows I went to. At Hershey, they didn't seem to care about pics what so ever, but videos were monitored and told to shut it down.

Amlyn, I agree about the seating! I had never been to the Star Pavilion and why do they even call it a pavilion? It's just the backside of the stage stage with chairs in the back parking lot and the lawn area. I was thinking it was going to be something like PNC Bank Center, something that had an overhang. I was in section C, row 6 and it wasn't terrible, but if you didn't have section B you had somewhat partially obstructed view it seemed. I saw there was a section too my left that like you said looked like left field, I could only imagine how the view was from there. I would've been pissed.

Security it seemed was more concerned about people who brought umbrellas LOL...they were telling people to take them back to the car of if they saw them in line, they asked a few people to check them near the stage and collect them when they left. Security came up to the guy in front of me who had one and he said about. Someone then mentioned cameras to him and my ears perked up because I had my with and was curious how they were (on the website, it says no cameras allowed). He said if they see someone hold it up in the air for a few seconds and it goes down, no big deal, but if it stays up and their recording then we tell them to stop. So when Stevie came out you should've seen all those cameras! LOL.

I took ALOT of photos and rather than post them all, here's the link to the public version of my FB album...enjoy!!
