Sounds like the set list is pretty good. I'd like to see the Zep cover changed to "In Your Dreams", but will enjoy it anyways. Will be interesting to see if the set list for Heart/Soul dates mirror last years. I hope she at least does Moonlight and Annabel Lee.
Glad everyone has enjoyed the first two shows.

This is Bonnie Bramlett. Apparently, it was shown during Ghosts are Gone, which Stevie said is a Delaney & Bonnie style song.

And, if you look closely, you can see the sticker on the truck door reads, "Delaney & Bonnie".

Great Songs ...
I don't hate it At the contrary, I think they're both very beautiful. The problem is that there's no room for another song in the set list, so you have to take out another song if you want to add the one you like. For example, for "Italian summer" (that I love for obvious reasons) I had to do the same, but I didn't want to take off her old and famous songs such as Rhiannon, GDW, SB etc...

Excellent and comprehensive observation CAD, thanks!

PS: Why in the 70s women were all such a hotties?

Ha. Chili probably didn't read this thread, but if he did and he didn't know that, then he has FAILED.

Ah, thanks!
I wonder if she also mentioned Bekka as her replacement in the 90's?

Default I'm so weak..

I told myself I wouldn't look at the setlists, but I just can't help it. And I had only 3 days to wait.. headed up to NYC on the 1 p.m. train for the Beacon show tonight..

Thanks for sharing everyone.. the Stand Back video rocks and Stevie looks and sounds amazing... I can't wait to see her tonight...

at the Beacon.. in New York... talk about a dream that will unwind! And I love the black tee...

Enjoy the show everyone who is going.. I know I will be rocking and reeling.

I agree with both of you.As everyone know me now I'm always positive with what she sings.I know we are all getting older .I just want to see perform live when she can still do it.

I had a great time at JB.I have to say Stevie was not the only thing hot there. It was hot like a mother there.Yes we could of use the over high tide in the place that day to cool down.

As of my review.Short and simple Stevie was awesome. She said there was now or little rehearding .Shes a pro .She did great.I'm glad to see she mixed up the setlist this time around.I'll forgive on the Rock and Roll cover.I never cared about the original Zep version. She always done a great job on that song.I'm glad that Enchanted is back on the setlist.I'm glad she kept L&L in the setlist along with Steve Real helping her with it.He has a awesome voice. She probably keep L&L in the setlist when she continues with Rod on the 20th.I broke down and got two tee's and a magnet.I wish she would produce a program but they will take time to make up and cost to print up.We have enougth photos on here to make up for not having a program.

My seat was great and got up and got a handshake. As for my neighbors.I had a tall guy on the left of me kept moving into into me .In which I was getting annoyed and ruined a couple of photos and video ops .On that and I endup bumping into the guy in the right of me .He was alittle annoyed.I apoligized to him at the end of the show.It was hot and all of us were short fused.I other then that I had a blast and I did not see many drunks staggering around.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks opening w/ Rock And Roll was a good idea.

Seems like a pretty decent set list; I hope she comes to Western Canada one day... I'd go even if she sang the phone book.

I can't stop thinking about Stevie in tears at the end of this show. I found it very moving and it caught me off guard. I wish someone caught it on video, not because I want to see Stevie get choked up again but because I would like to better remember what she said when she was so moved. Anyone get the moment on video?

All week we've been hearing about the scorching weather in NY and I thought about the concert, but I figured that maybe being off the water would cool things down. All it seems to have done was wind them up, but it still sounds like a fantastic show and a great memory to add to your store.

Thanks for the review.

Michele
