Nothing really new, but interesting nonetheless. Note: LB insists SN is just a friend but the intensity onstage is real but a reflection of what used to be.

And the vocalist has exercised her diaphragm.

Red face Arizona Republic...

Good article that one... lets cut them some
slack in this passionate stage stuff...aren't they
all married men with many children? Why say
Stevie was never married... what about Kim A.?

What they said was: About the intensity stuff...

Buckingham...Married...Father of two...agrees...
to a point..... " I think what your seeing now....as
intensity... is certainly there...but...its almost as a
reflection...and it's certainly based on Friendship!"

Let's be Happy they are All Good Friends!

Well this actually goes along with what I think is going on right now, anyway.

I think they've been "following the rules" since about 1998 or so, so I'm not surprised to read that.

Thanks!

What about the goodbye songs? People keep missing the point of Stevie's--it's NOT about Lindsey!!!!

I love Stevie and feel really badly for her...this just dawned on me when I read Sharon's comment about "following the rules." Poor thing, she has to go out there on stage every night and sing to her ex and do the "act" and then he goes home to a wife and babies. She's a strong woman, but it really must rip her heart right out. It would do that to me...

If I'd have written a song on "Rumours"? How about "You want a what?", or "We should have had a Pre-Nup". (John McVie)

Default Lindsey never looks beyond his 30 year old

Trust me - when Lindsey is lying in bed with his gorgeous 30 year old wife - the last thing on his mind is 55 year old Stevie

How on Earth did Lindsey land Kristen? I don't know if I would date someone 20 years my senior, no matter if he was a rock and roll god. It's kinda creepy--he could be her dad.

In response to to jeffs, I guess all I can say is that in this society of "Younger Is Always Superior", I can see where one would have that opinion.

Form always wins out over substance when you look at the world that way.

I love their music and I love getting news and comments about the music and about their performances here on the ledge. Great discussions and info place here!
What I really don't understand is why some people care to discuss other ones love life. I don`t know these guys personally. What do I care for with who they are married or have a date with? This whole drama relationship Stevie/ Lindsey talk is the reason why they keep on performing this interaction the way they do- with all the well known speeches and gestures on every show. This is of course intentional.
Certainly the music touches us and some songs are very emotional. Like a good film or a great book- it`s art and entertainment fun stuff also. But talking about a certain level of importance: I think it's better to concentrate on the own personal life with own friends and loves and relationships instead of being devastated because Lindsey Buckingham has a wife and kids. I don't know who Kristen Messner is, if she is nice and gentle or Tonya Hardings twin sister. Who am I to care for? It's their life I don't know them personally and I never will. I just hope they do some good music in the future so I can enjoy it in the next decade too.

Thumbs up Amen Stefan!!

I agree, I'm not bashing others for loving the soap opera that is FM....but I personally don't see the excitement in it. I love the music, that's #1 for me, I don't care who's sleeping with who, or who's dating who. Whatever. NOBODY (that I know of) has met Kristen or talked with her at length so how can one judge her?

Since Lindsey doesn't LOOK (or act ) his age, I don't think Kristen looks at him as a "fatherly figure". Age ain't nuttin but a number. It's how you FEEL that makes you old or young.

Safe to say Kirsten will outlive Lindsey by 25 or so years and at that point she will be a very rich middle aged woman laughing all the way to the bank. She will remarry a very happy younger man at that point and live happily ever after.

I know I am one of "those" people who likes to talk about who dated whom, etc. I just want to clarify that I am not doing it in a vicious or vindictive way. I'm just curious about the lives of my favorite singers and I'm looking for information. I'm curious as to who Kristen is, as I am Lynn and Julie. Stevie's men have always been pretty famous. The wives stay out of the spotlight, and the fans don't know much about them. The questions that I post are clearly out of speculation and are not caused to do any harm. I'm sorry if they have appeared that way but I really don't mean anything. (And I didn't mean that Kristen looks at Lindsey as a father figure--I was just saying that he's old enough to be her dad--just a statement of fact.)

Now onto something else!!
