Reissue of 25 Years: The Chain 4CD

The Chain entered the UK album chart at #9 this week. Not bad for a 20 year old compilation.

Is the shipping to the U.S. reasonable?

I spent so much money on this when I was a kid and then didn't take care of it at all because I was a kid.

I ordered mine last night from amazon.uk. Total cost $19.25. I got the email this morning letting me know that it has been dispatched (shipped in US jargon?) with an estimated arrival date of Wed, June 27th.

Not bad at all.

I bought mine in a shop here in Arnhem (the Netherlands): 19 euro.
Same sloppy mistake as 20 years ago: 'Dust my broom' (from Mr. Wonderful) is listed as 'I believe my time ain't long' (their first single). It's basically the same (Elmore James) song but they recorded it twice (in the studio, that is).
And they still claim that some songs are 'unreleased'...

I have the original issue of "The Chain"........is this reissue remastered by any chance? If so, I might buy it again.........oh who am I fooling, I will end up buying it again just because it is in a different box. LOL

my gf got it for me last week in a sale(already) its really amazing, despite not having "the Chain" on it eve though its called it, anyone know why it was never added on????

It's on my original release. Disc 2, Track 10.

Yeah "The Chain" is on mine Disc #2.

This set might not be "remastered" but these songs sound darn good to me!

I didn't know about this reissue 'till I saw this thread. I have wanted this set on CD for ages but was put off by the price. Now it's only £9.97 for the 4 CD version. Fantastic!

I recommend this for every Fleetwood Mac fan. $20 for U.S. Ledgies ain't bad at all. Plus you get songs that aren't available elseware, i.e the extended cut of Gypsy, and Christine's Love Shines and Heart of Stone. Also Mirage outtake from Lindsey Goodbye Angel.

Plus several must-haves from the Peter/Jeremy/Danny era (Oh Well, Need You Love So Bad, Station Man) and Christine/Welch albums (Sentimental Lady, Why, Hypnotized).

...and 4 good songs from Behind the Mask.

Curious thing though is that Hold Me and Seven Wonders where left off this set?
