AHAHAHAHAHA! This is absolutely bl**dy brilliant. A totally mad spoof of Kate Bush's image from 2008.

I had no idea she did this. It's fantastic. Kate sings Gershwin! Is it too random to want a big band/covers album from her now? This is especially good at the 3 minute mark.

Wonderful!

Cyndi Lauper-"True Colors", 1986. Most people think that "She's So Unusual" was Cyndi's only worthwhile effort yet in my opinion its follow up was more mature, more thought out, even more enjoyable. There were not so many big hits but the whole album seems to be more cohesive and Cyndi's voice as usually sounds perfect (especially on underappreaciated single "Boy Blue). "True Colors" was my first ever Cyndi's album, bought in 2001 and partially my estimation might stem from sentimentality but on the other hand for more than 10 years I haven't changed my mind. I still think it's one of her best. I love "Maybe He'll Know" with guest star appearance by Billy Joel; "Change of Heart" with The Bangles as background vocalists; title track, which is still being played in Poland; quirky "The Faraway Nearby" and my all time favourite "Boy Blue".

Been having a very Linda Perry/4 Non Blondes day, specifically Linda's "In Flight" album. Linda's melancholy, like John Martyn's "Solid Air", runs deep through this album. Each song is reeking with underlying torment which, quite frankly, makes it delicious. It's a soul laid bare, and it's not ashamed to show the world just how tarnished and dirty it is. Knocked Me Out is a new favourite of mine.

The new Regina Spektor album is brilliant - maybe her best ever.

I remember my 4 Non Blondes days back in the late 1993. I bought their original cassette "Bigger! Better! Faster! More" and played it to death (of the cassette) "Train", "Spaceman" and "Drifting" have always been my favourites. I know nothing about Linda's solo album but from what I read it deserves some investigation

Rush's new album Clockwork Angel's. At this point with their 20th Studio album. I think their run ended in about 87 with Hold your Fire. Their work has been spotty ever since. this new album suffers from the same problems. Over loud, over long, not enough memorable songs. Might be time to hang it up. I wish music acts knew when to stop, Instead of beating obviously dead horses.

The past few days all I have listened to is The Police and Sting. Just can't get enough.
