Default Stevie's house was used in an episode of Hart To Hart!

I'm not sure too many Ledgies are old enough to remember the show Hart To Hart with Robert Wagner & Stefanie Powers... but my other half & I have been watching it lately for fun (we're getting the discs through Netflix). Last night we were watching the finale for season 1, an episode titled "Death Set." Anyway- pretty much the entire episode is filmed in the home where Stevie recorded In Your Dreams. The big staircase is the center of a lot of action. The patio overlooking the ocean with the infamous "dead" tree even makes an appearance.

If you don't believe me, watch the below footage from IYD:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ri-eu...feature=fvwrel

Then compare it to the home in Death Set:

Though the furniture & wallpaper have changed, it's definitely the same house!

Hi Louie,
some nights ago I found another video of Stevie, an old video this time (late 70's - early 80's) where you can see the same old white house, with the same main entrance shown in the first video of Hart to hart (at 5:29) you posted. Unluckily, now I can't find it ANYMORE on Youtube and I don't even remember the title!
Maybe someone could find it! All I remember is that there's a scene where Stevie run down the big staircase and exit from this huge doorway of the same old house...It's almost 3 hours I'm searching on Yt, but I can't find anything, even if some days ago this video appeared sometimes in the list on the right..

great. now all the stalkers are gonna be able to come up with a floor plan to plan their breaking and jumping into the shower with Stevie!

And I think the video from the 80s you are thinking of is the Stand Back video (original version) there was a similar staircase in that video.

I really hope her house is well protected by bodyguards, high gates and surveillance cameras, not only to prevent anyone from jumping into the shower with her, or into her bed (poor Stevie!), but above all to prevent worst things that we know sick, crazy people is capable to do today. For "Stand Back": it's not the video I was talking about, since it's my fav Stevie's song and I couldn't recognize the one she sings in the "mysterious" video. Anyway you are right, talking about her house in details could attract stalkers, so I stop in respect of her privacy.
Let's just say that her house is too beautiful to be real in this world.... in fact she's a Goddess and lives in the house next door to Goddess Christine on Venus, planet of women and love.

^^Although that certainly looks like Stevie's house, and I'm about 90% sure it's hers, the only doubt I have involves the location of the garage. From what I could tell, the garage (or some sort of outbuilding) appears to be located to the right of the house. Stevie's garage is definitely on the left side of the house. I don't know... maybe it's just the way the scenes were edited and pieced together...

Please she doesn't live there. But, others pointed out when the IYD video sheet thingys were leaked with all the cast, crew, location, etc. details that of course it's in a gated community. It must be a popular place for filming.

On the garage, possible renovations were made in the last 30 years.

With the internet, cell phones and Ipads its hard to keep things private now days. There are websites with maps to point out where stars live and VIPS live or used to live.

Maybe Stevie should of do what Steve Miller did.Dont put a picture of the artist on the album covers. For years in the 1970's nobody know what Steve looked like.He said it was great. He can go out shopping like a normal person.Kiss with the makeup was great too.

what perspective are you speaking from? if you were standing on her porch looking out to the street, the garage would be on the right.

it's actually not a gated community, but there is a gate and fairly high walls in front of the house.

My perspective is looking at the house straight-on. In the H2H episode, the cars were parked to the right of the house and there appeared to be a garage/outbuilding there... but then again, the scene was dark and the edits were quick, so .

It's not that tall and the front yard is very, very shallow- the front door is set back maybe 30 feet from the sidewalk. I can understand why she would have misgivings about living there full time- it's definitely not as secure as her condo.

I wouldn't really trust Stevie shooting a gun. Michele
