She's not a Republican.
She's smart.
And she's been supporting smart Democratic candidates for decades.

i hate the political turn this has taken. BUT on Leno, i think she said she would not have voted for Clinton because he was her age and she didn't know who should go on what bus, much less lead the free world.

Stevie a Republican? I think not!

Besides, democrats have all the cool celebrities!
Republicans have Ted Nugent! And they can keep him "for what it's worth!"

I'd say Lindsey is the only died in the wool liberal Democrat of the 5.Stevie was very likely raised Republican but has supported mostly Democrats.Mick also leans Democratic I think and Christine seemed mostly apolitical IMO.

It was on Letterman that when asked she said she wouldn't
vote for Clinton again.

And it only turns political on here when someone mentions
sin, pro-life or even Fox News. And then there comes the
warning or suggestion to move it to the chat section. I
have proof of that from another thread. Where all views are
respected and welcomed...yeah right.

I agree remember that interview she did with David Letterman in 1994 she talked like she was a republican or libertarian /Tea party to me it wouldn't surprise me.To me i do think rock stars and celebrity's need to keep there politics to themselves. All in a nut shell all politicians are liars in my opinion they only make broken promises to get your vote and they do the same thing or even worse things in office than the president before. If they are political that is fine will always be a fan either way.

I agree. She is listed as a contributor for numerous Democratic candidates even though she seems to choose to be apolitical publicly. As far as her comment on Letterman is concerned, I believe she was attempting to be humorous in suggesting that a younger candidate does not have enough experience to make the tough decisions required of the President, i.e. her comment about how she has trouble deciding which bus to travel in or something to that effect. She seems eager to do concerts in honor of Bill Clinton, whether with FM or solo. I doubt a Tea Party Republican would do that. I believe in one interview around the time FM did the first Clinton gig, they mentioned that John was the only real Republican in the group.
