Thumbs up Last night was sweet!

I really enjoyed last nights show. I had a wonderful time and danced so hard. IMO, Stevie sounded more energetic than she did on Friday night in LA. She gave the crowd a warm welcome and IMO she put more uummpphh into her singing. But, being my second show, I also noticed a lot of the same things being said, movements, while I know they will tell the same stories behind their songs, it did seem kind of scripted in a way. How I noticed this was interesting - I noticed my photos from Friday night coming alive in front of my face. During SYW, Im all "hey I have that photo!" same stuff, same movements you know? Lindsey, as usual, was the man. He seems so freaking energetic this tour its INFECTIOUS!!!!!! Come was amazing. Being a bit further back this time, I did notice more about the overall show. I enjoyed more of the images they had flashing on the screens behind them. LOL I even noticed my avatar was on the screen during "Gypsy" and Im all "Hey, there I am". I kind of wondered why they put that other percussionsit down below. Everyone else is up higher except that one guy. Felt kind of bad for him. I mean you dont have to have him as high as Mick or Taku, but not all the way down below either. I noticed between songs when Stevie would go in the back, she would be taken down a hydrolic lift of some sort between the back of the backdrop. She would then come up the stairs like the others. Stevie lit the crowd on FIRE with STAND BACK. Man I tell ya she got WAY into it. She did "silly dreamer" on Rhiannon again, just cranking it out near the end going OFF IMO. More than Friday. She gave a lot of ummpphh and her voice even cracked a bit on Silver Springs once, likely due to her just going all out. She dedicated Landslide to all of us, cause we are her HOMETOWN! Beautiful Child, once more, made me cry so. Stevie, thank you so much for doing this song. I went up front to take some photos for a bit, but didnt take as many as before. Metal detectors prevented me from getting my DAT in, but that's ok. Im sure someone else managed somehow. There's 25th row up... Im contemplating going tonight! They had a lot of tickets being sold in the lot, pre show. Below face. Empty seats were here and there, but generally it was full. 1/2 the crowd it seems took off before Goodbye Baby was done. Which, was so lovely to hear again. The drum solo was great as usual, I did notice Mick said the same stuff / same grunts, lol. But it was enjoyable. Mr. McVie of course dropped those bass bombs on my ears I love so well. I love during THE CHAIN where he just gets down into it. That's it for now!!! Wish some of you were there with me!

I went to the show at the Pond last night and had to be here at work at 5:45am......feeling it today..... well worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.....

here is my review (posted everywhere):

Anaheim -Arrowhead Pond 07/16/03

The Chain
(from the opening beats to the first notes from LB - magical and hairraising!! -the harmonies were great!)

Dreams
(simply magic again, one of my all time fave songs by ANYONE and this was a great performance)

Eyes of the World
Peacekeeper
(new ones for me.... must get the new album this weekend)

Second Hand News
(great song, SN and LB singing to each other, def an old fave)

Say You Will
(great song....must get the new album before the weekend)

Never Going Back Again
(LB shined on this one, a definite highlight -one of many)

Rhiannon
(when this started their seemed to be a mass reaction all at once.... beautiful....another of my all time faves)

Come
(another new one? -great nonetheless)

Gypsy
(what can I say -AMAZING)

Big Love
(this, probably next to the experience of The Chain was my personal highlight of the entire show.... LB is SO UNDERRATED...there is so much emotion in this song and if you cannot feel it, even in the studio version (although, LB doing the solo live is better) I don't know what to tell ya.)

Landslide
(another fantastic performance, following Big Love it was a lot to take in.....)

Say Goodbye
(I didn't want to!)

What's the World Coming To
Beautiful Child
(both great -as was the entire show)

Gold Dust Woman
(another AMAZING performance, great stage effects too, it's amazing the reaction SN gets when she does her dance)

I'm So Afraid
Silver Springs
(great performance -heartfelt)

Tusk
(LB and MF went all out on this one!)

Stand Back
(this was a surprise! wonder if this would have been allowed if CM was there? hmmmmm)

Go Your Own Way
(the opening notes very reminicent of The Chain experience)

World Turning (Mick's drum solo)
(what can you say about MF -he's the master!)

Don't Stop (Stevie's singing Christine's part)
(Christine who? LOL)

Goodbye Baby
(I had to miss this one -had to be at work way to early.

all in all one of the BEST shows I've seen! I wish I could see more of this tour.... I had seen SN at the AZ Heart Institute Benefit in Phoenix on 9/23/00 and was completely blown away -LB gave a stellar performance (again) and the duet of Leather & Lace with Don Henley was unbelievable....

FM rocked the Pond!!!

nuff' said.
