Default Windish Agency signs LB

http://www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2012/...-division.html

The Windish Agency also announced that they have formed a performing arts division. The company already reps a number of artists in the field including Pink Martini, Bebel Gilberto, Bajofondo, Bomba Estereo, Mexican Institute of Sound, SMOD, Jovanotti, Tortoise and newly signed Lindsey Buckingham.

"We are constantly looking for ways to expand the reach of our clients, and booking them in performing arts centers is certainly a key component," said Tom Windish, President, The Windish Agency.

They should list how much money it takes to hire Lindsey!

What do they do? Are they a promotion agency for his live show? Management? A record company for the new album I want him to release this year?

I wonder if he signed with them before or after the BB King's gigs were booked.

Oddly, on their site the CA dates aren't listed...

That date is listed on the Windish site.

Makes me think two different agencies booked the dates for 2012.

could be... remember how that Ithaca promoter was the first one who said he was contacted about possible LB tour, before we heard about any cali dates? and then about a week later he said the dates changed and june dates were out / moved towards fall. few weeks later he said dates have changed again and june is now back in... maybe it was two different booking agents and once windish stepped in june dates were on the table again...

Yeah, that's right. I wonder if it's normal to use 2/more than 1 or if LB was just unhappy with the other one and made this switch. Not important, just curious how it all works.
