Default So why can't Stevie.....

Still dress like some of her classic stage clothes and images she's now letting others sometimes wear at times? Oh those cream handkerchief skirts and long wispy cream chiffon tops like what Christina's wearing. They still look as fabulous today as they did 30 years ago and obviously forever timeless on her, on anyone, so could you imagine if she started pulling some of these classic looks out again onstage for us? I love her in the black and the boots, but sometimes I just know we miss those floor length Bella Donna-Mirage era cream Rhiannon sleeves and classic stage looks. I think it's awesome she's lending out her classic clothes here and there on special occasions for others, but oh so missing them on her.

Well, she'd probably have to get new clothes made that were like her old ones. That red ensemble she had on at that Australian awards show was new and it was very remniscent of past pieces! I loved it.

I definitely prefer the flowing hankerchief dresses to the ruffles, far more flattering in my opinion.

well, for one thing she won't fit into her old stage clothes... she was teeny-tiny then (one upside to coke....)

she's even commented on that herself, esp during the making of the videos of IYD, dressing the young girls in her old clothes and saying she couldn't believe they were all ever that tiny...

I know...I know! I'm right there with you. I'm guessing age has a lot to do with it, though her old stage clothes are classic and timeless so she would certaintly look beautiful in them today. I'm wondering if she will stick with her outfits from last year on this year's tour or change things up. I really wish she'd retire those ruffle dresses and get back to the chiffon skirts! She was wearing one in the Up All Night episode so maybe there's hope.
