Default Light Switch

So I had a birthday this week. Just got back from a friend's house, and here is what he got me for a present. I was so psyched! It's so original, so creative, and so much better than a mere t-shirt or something.

I love this! I'd love to know where he got it.I now have visions of having various classic rock light switch covers throughout my flat.

I love that switchplate.I wonder if they have it in a plug style too. It shouldn't be that hard to make them.Make copies of your favorite Stevie photos. Cut the switch/plug holes in the photo glue it to the plate .check for bumped.let dry.spray some kind of coating on it.Maybe I should try to make one.

Cool idea and great gift! I found this site that makes personalized switch plates among other things: http://www.fotosbydesign.com/product...ch-covers.html

I wonder if they would make a Stevie/FM plates. They probably won't due to the copyright thing.

I made one a while back (forgot to take it w/ me when I moved) a little decopage (however the hell that's spelled) cutting and pasting. I found some stuff at Michaels that was a clear coat with glitter in it. Doesn't cost much to trial and error (lightswitch covers run maybe 99 cents a pop) the glue stuff is maybe $3 for a large bottle. Voila. It def adds a little subtle Stevie charm to a room
