It's Philip. Not sure about the female, but I would hope Elyse. Maybe Skylar.

It was Elyse and Phillip. I thought they sounded great, although not as good as Stevie and Tom, obviously

I liked Elise... Phillip was just OK, IMHO. Y'know, ever since Stevie talked about him reminding her of Lindsey, I've had that in the back of my mind, and his weird posture, bulging veins, red face, and jerking movements as he sings and plays guitar do remind me of Lindsey! As far as looks, though, he reminds me of George Newbern (that guy from Father of the Bride).

It was just meh for me. I felt like the tempo was a little draggy or slow. A bit more pace and it would have been great - but I'm honestly not sure if Phil can sing any...faster?

It sounded like karaoke to me
as most of this show always does. But it definitely was the best of the 80's duets. Phil had a little fun with a couple of stylistic changes in last verse, but other than that it was flat & the arrangement dull. Damn Stevie, I've avoided this show all year till she came along. Time to put it to bed again. |

Philip's mannerisms sort of remind me of Joe Cocker...but not in a bad way. Anybody else see that in him? Not in the John Belushi imitating Joe Cocker way. Anyway, I like him.

I thought SDMHA was kind of mediocre
The best of the 80s duets IMO was I Knew You Were Waiting .It's not even my style of music but that Jessica has pipes that are the match of Whitneys before she wrecked her voice.![]()

It wasn't very good at all. Phillip looked and sounded like he was having a really hard bowel movement and Elyse...well, she's no Stevie. Very Karaoke. Did anyone else notice that SDMHA was twice referred to as just a Tom Petty song? He may have written it, but it's a Stevie Nicks song.
