You'll have to keep us posted on his this goes! As for being unapproachable and country artists, I'm a big fan of Sara Evans (despite her last album being a bit rubbish) and although I hate to say it, that's the impression I get from her. I hope I'm wrong though and she's more like Jennifer Nettles - who is just FUN!

Yup, they did that song and apparently have a new album. Our city has a yearly fall event called Coconut Festival, Night Ranger was the Headliner. For $5.00 general admission I was there. First time seeing them and very close to the stage. Brad Gilis(also Ozzy guitarist) did Crazy Train in the set as well. The Drummer sings a few of the songs including the hit Sister Christian. Very rocking sound, tight performance, much better than I anticipated. It was a good time. I think the only cheaper concert I've seen was Midnight Oil for free in Miami around 1992?.

Thought I'd bring this thread back, if for no other reason than to say that Rosanne was absolutely fantastic! If any of you are fans and get the chance to see her, go for it. You won't be disappointed. She took audience requests, although she turned mine down because apparently she "never plays" Rosie Strike Back. Oh well.

I also saw Kylie Minogue at a tiny 1000 capacity venue inManchester on Sunday, the same weekend as Rosanne - musical schizophrenia! She was AMAZING! It was a tiny gig where she played nothing but b-sides and album tracks, so just for hardcore fans. Excellent

I have tickets for John Hiatt in July now too and am waiting (im)patiently for Cranberries and Bonnie Raitt dates. Anyone got anything exciting lined up?

Also waiting impatiently for Bonnie Raitt dates! Blondie dates, Kylie dates (I'm after the big glitz and glamour hits show though), and if by some stroke of luck it happens, Dolly Parton.

But in all honesty, I'll probably only see Blondie and Bonnie, if she comes over here.

I've seen Kylie 5 times and yes, the big glitz and glamour shows are incredible! I think you'll be waiting a couple of years though since she just finished the AMAZING Aphrodite tour last year. Did you see it? I was right at the front and, for sheer spectacle, it ranks as one of the most brilliant concerts I've been to. She also sings every note live. The Manchester gig on Sunday was so different. Just her, a live band, 1000 fans and B-sides - brilliant. The atmosphere was just fantastic.

I saw Bonnie on the Souls Alike tour and so can't wait to see her again if she tours non US venues for Slipstream. Do you have the new album yet? I like it.

I'm also hoping for Counting Crows dates for their new album (Underwater Sunshine, out next week). I've seen them before and they are incredible.

I've missed out on Dolly tickets for her last 2 tours so if she ever does play again I must go! I'd love to have seen her on tour for her trilogy of Bluegrass albums between 1999-2002 though, I think that's her best stuff.

I need to see Blondie this time around. I've missed them twice because of my friends both times! I need to persuade one of my friends to come though aha.

This is where I think I'm lucky in that I don't mind going to these things on my own. Sure, if friends want to come when tickets go on sale then that's great. All the better and I always ask them. Then again, if I can't get anyone then no way am I missing out so I just gey myself a ticket! You can usually get nearer the front if you go alone, too - if that's what you want.

Yeah, normally I go to Blondie shows with my friend Amy but if she can't make it this year or whatever, I'm happy to go on my own. But that's mostly because when I get there I won't be on my own as I know a lot of the regulars and will just meet them in the queue.

I would actually go on my own if it was standing but not seated.

Blondie shows aren't normally seated in the UK venues

Going to see Fun tonight. I don't care for them - too hipster/trendy, probably doomed to be a one-hit wonder with their We Are Young song, but my boyfriend thinks they're just the greatest thing ever at the moment so we've got tickets.

Regina Spektor and Tom Petty on April 18 (and Wicked the night before!)

Kasabian April 22...

MADONNA in October.

Oh, and James Morrison May 8. Very happy to see him a third time, and hoping to get my CD autographed, as well. Will be the third time for that as well.
