Now that FM and Stevie are under the same management umbrella, most of the things the individual members do are ultimately with the big FM picture in mind. The people who got LB on Saturday Night Live are now related to the people who got Stevie on Up All Night. It's not really Us v. Them any longer, as it was during Destiny Rules.

Wouldn't that piss Mick off? If they decided to do a BN tour first.

For the record, I'm glad Lindsey didn't do Glee.
Even if he thought it was a good idea for Stevie,
by him not doing it he seems less like a sell out.

None of us have any true idea where they stand with that.

Cool! I was hoping '70's pop culture wouldn't be totally lost.

Maybe it already has and that's why he was pissing and moaning in the Playboy article...

Lindsey's songs were on Glee, too. Stevie just visited the set when the were filming - she wasn't actually on the show or anything. And actually the episode she visited wasn't even the Rumours episode, it was just a random one where they sang Landslide that happened before all the Rumours stuff.

But, I'm sure it was connected and not just a random coincidence. Sort of like playing golf with a potential business partner before a big deal.

You may be on to something! After all, Katy Perry was at the school charity thingy at the Buckingham's and LB mentioned how his kids dig her music then poof Stevie suddenly wants to collaborate and does that lead in on Katy's video.

Kristen should be put on the payroll.

Right. I was just responding to the insinuation (or rather, statement) that somehow Stevie was a sellout in regards to the Glee thing.

But how could she be if Lindsey was contacted by Ryan Murphy and agreed to it? It's not all on Stevie!

the whole "sellout" thing is bunch of crap, they all want to be heard and make money, Stevie has been smart, the only thing that has helped sells has came from the tv, what is great about it is it really has confirmed her stardom, she can get on the biggest shows at her age, pretty cool

I am delighted that Christine comes off relatively well in all of this and that she has responded positively to this book.

I was concerned, a couple of years back, at the portrayal of her (not just by Ken Caillat, but also by the UK press when she ran into some trouble in her local village) as a paranoid recluse.

She appears to have handled things with class. If I were her, though, I'd have helped Ken with the book. The sentiment that she didn't want to 'go against anyone else' is noble, but frankly - especially where Lindsey is concerned - I don't think the same courtesy would have been extended had the shoe been on the other foot.
