I've almost given up. There's still a tiny but of optimism left, but not much. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled for everyone who will be seeing him in the upcoming shows and look forward to reading all the reviews and accounts. But I am still sorely disappointed for us over in the UK/IRL/Europe. I think mostly I'm disappointed over the fact that the whole thing was never properly addressed by LB.

I know I'm going over for 3 shows (so far lol) but, believe me, I'm still sore and by no means over the disappointment! That M&G meant everything to me, and really it's just wishful thinking that I'll get to meet him in Cali, just hoping that's all. But I'm still "glass half full" that he will come here - eventually!

Lindsey Buckingham Announces West Coast Tour Dates

Fleetwood Mac‘s Lindsey Buckingham has lined up his first tour dates of 2012 — a series of West Coast gigs scheduled in May. Nine of the 10 confirmed shows will take place in the singer/guitarist’s home state of California, with the trek kicking off May 3 in Solana Beach and plotted out through a May 21 concert in Spokane, Washington.

Most recently, Buckingham was forced to cancel a tour of the UK this past November when the guitarist in his solo band seriously injured his back.

Buckingham continues to promote his Seeds We Sow album, which was released in September of last year.

Here are all of his confirmed tour dates, according to LindseyBuckingham.com:

yes, this seems to be the promo photo they are using for this tour - a much nicer photo than the one that was used for the last year's tour. i wish this photo would also replace the main photo on LB's website.

I have the same problem with that I had last time Lindsey was in SF, which is that I have to work that night and it might be very hard for me to get it off. Does anyone know if there will be an opener? It seems like he never has an opening act. Is that by his choice? If anyone knows and could let me know that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
