Does anyone have any thoughts on Boston vs. Detroit for a better concert experience? These are the two sites we're trying to decide between. Boston is further away but we've never been and want to go.... but Detroit would be a lot cheaper so it's a toss-up as of right now.

Hey GoldDustGypsy,
I have to say I love the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston. It's right on the harbor so there is water behind the stage, and you can have a drink watching the sunset over the ocean before the show. It's my favorite place to see a concert. If it's your first time visiting Boston, I would say this would be the perfect trip. I'm not sure what David means about no beer, I can assure you that is not the case. I got VIP tickets that have access to a private bar, but without VIP, there is pleanty of beer. |

Thank you all for your feedback! I think that we've decided on....both.
I think we're going to get really good seats in Boston and then like the CHEAPEST in Detroit. Neither one of us are really excited about seeing Rod so we figured we would just travel a little this summer and see Stevie solo.... maybe get Heart and Soul lawn tickets in Cincinnati which is only like an hour away. |
