Default more tour dates in the works?

yesterday, Bob Aguirre posted here http://www.facebook.com/events/122726477852444/ (LB tour event FM News and Reviews made):

Bob Aguirre
Be patient. He is going to tour for a while. Chance are good he will be near to you.

also yesterday, LB HQ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lindse...29665067079933 posted this comment:

Lindsey Buckingham HQ
I think it'll be a while until we start to see Mid-West or East Coast dates. I have a feeling this tour will be done in short legs, generally located in the same areas, like what we saw with CA. Next will probably be the North West, then South West (or vice versa), then another short break. A lot of scheduling and routing issues come up in small tours like this. I'm sure they just want everything to flow and make sense

and finally, some promoter for University of Iowa, tweeted this yesterday:

@TheJYWrinkle http://www.hancher.uiowa.edu/
Just got pitched Lindsey Buckingham by his agent. Can't stop thinking about DeAndre Jordan never letting him talk on "what up with dat" #SNL

of course, he doesn't know his SNL characters, but at least he's got LB's name right

Oh LB, how about you take a little trip across the pond too?

If I am lucky enough to get a quick word with Lindsey, it's my top priority to get some sort of answer from him as to whether he'll come over.

I want to tell him that I would like to bring something positive back with me to relate to fans in UK/Ireland/Europe.

He needs to be told from a UK fan how devastated we were and how much we want him here! I will do my utmost to try and waylay him and get some sort of answer straight from the horses mouth!

The east coast (if he comes here) will probably get the fall. He likes it here in the fall. And, that's fine by me. Maybe I can prepare $$ better than last year.

Can't wait for east coast dates! Wish I could make it out to Cali, but it's not in the cards.

I wish he'd come to Austin... I think he'd be surprised at the turnout. I know his shows in Houston haven't done so well. But Austin is all about the underground music scene.

I just want my Rhode Island show darn it! I really feel bad for the European fans and hope he does something very special for them. I have to say that I am not really excited about an all acoustic show. Maybe his band will be back in full swing when he does hit the east coast.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Once in a lifetime opportunity to see an all acoustic show and it's only for the W. Coast.

I hope he comes to the East Coast around October-November....that way my funds can have time to recover from the summer of Stevie.

.....however if he did come earlier that would be fine too. I would still get fantastic seats and just run a credit card up or something. Wouldn't miss either of them for the world.

Hmm, he could still do both. He could tour medium size venues with his band. On the few off days he could do his acoustic show at smaller venues.
For example, on a Friday he plays a place like Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA which holds about 270. He does an acoustic show there. The next night on the Saturday he plays The Park Theatre in Cranston, RI which holds about 1100 with his full band.
I am not saying he should do a show every night but he could mix it up a bit.

that's interesting idea - i'm sure he could do this. not so sure his guitar tech would be very happy with the schedule like that.

Haha, brilliant! You must. Print off a copy of your sig pic and show him. I'd say that pretty much sums up the feelings of his UK/IRL/European fans

I'm not that excited about all acoustic either. I really like the blend of both that he's had in the last tours.

Haha. You know what? The whole LB tour cancellation is still such a sore point for me, but your sig never fail to make me giggle

But yeah, you're right - get him on side. He needs to visit us over here!
