At least now the fact that he was so actively promoting the lease of his Hawaiian home makes sense.

"Behind the piano, an even larger painting, The Blue Rose, fills the wall. It’s done in neo-Renaissance style and includes a likeness of Rodin’s The Thinker, a nude female angel playing a harp, a pack of blues musicians, an ax and a headless torso—and more nude women—plus a portrait of Fleetwood in the midst of it all, draped in a patterned scarf and wearing a white shirt. There is, naturally, a blue rose in there too."
Naturally. Interesting choice of words. Draped in a scarf and wearing a white shirt. I suppose I'm reading into this. What seems to be missing here? Pants? Wood balls? Perhaps the writer just left that stuff out. I'm sure it's very artsy. The man just got it wrong! |

Wow, Mick's mother is nearly blind, she dances, spins around and bangs on a tamborine. She's exactly like Stevie. It's been an Oedipal thing for Mick all of these years!
Hey, I laughed when Mick said they could be like the Eagles and lamented that they are the worse-run franchise in rock and roll history. It is true and we've said it many times ourselves. It's sad. Mick, we don't even have videos on DVD. If you can't tour, then merchandise. Help us out, man. We would love to help make you richer. Loved it when he said that for the first time even Lindsey might have lost his patience. For the first time, baby. See, that is how my Lindsey is, placid, calm, tolerant to a fault. It takes a lot for him to get ruffled. That reminds me of Lindsey saying that he thinks Mick and Stevie were upset with Sheryl. He was perturbed with her himself, but he liked drawing Mick and Stevie into his public umbrage. Michele |

Oh, I love how he's talking about the home he's making for himself and says that he never did anything with the space before because, "my wife never encouraged me". Huh? I bet there are 1001 things he's been doing non-stop that Lynn never encouraged him to do.
If you give someone power over you, that does not mean you are their victim or are at their mercy. The responsibility is still yours. So, maybe he let Lynn decide which homes they would decorate. He abrogated that task. It was still his choice too, even if he let someone else make it. Just that language and wording is annoying. I hate it when people deflect blame in their own lives in that fashion. Michele |

That's exactly the response I had. She's going out there & screwing around with Rod Stewart, doing an hour set of her own material. Tell her to cancel that crap & do it with Fleetwood Mac instead. She can do her own songs with her own band in the first half, & then do a few big hits with Fleetwood Mac in the second half, & finally they can all close out the show with Go Your Own Way & Don't Stop.

My thoughts exactly. And now, no sign of that little business "venture" ever existing...

Mick's been doing that with his various side projects. I think it's part of the reason that he sounds so good on Stevie's record.
