Indeed, it appears that Rod/Stevie are (so far) only hitting the markets they skipped last year. As such, the possibility of a repeat in the major coastal cities is looking increasingly less likely...

If Stevie going out with Rod again, I hope she does something to dress up her stage portion of the show. Bring along one or two of the characters from the sizzle reel (that would be cheap). Bring some flash. Bring the horse (much more expensive). Stevie's performance is solid, and her voice is strong. Hopefully she can blend in more with Rod Stewart and not look so stiff. There needs to be more "Vegas" in her act IF she wants to reach out to the fans of Rod Stewart. She said she wanted to use these outtings to reach other people.





When Stevie was going to fill in for Elton John's Red Piano shows, she went to the Caesar's show. She saw the stage set--giant balloons flying through the air, color, lights, etc. Stevie said she was going to have to "fill the stage." She was going to bring out the clothes, the boas, etc. That didn't quite happen. We did get the slide show in the dark along with the prancing unicorns, the flying white doves, and the psychodelic Gold Dust Woman backgrounds. But IF Stevie really wants to "sell it" she should "camp it up," in the way she did the sizzle reel. It'll cost some cash, but she can use this if she goes on to work the "In Your Dreams" cd/video. Or she could just play the actual sizzle reel so people know about the new album.

Okay, if I had to watch Rod dance like this throughout the show, I wouldn't get through it. He is so ridiculous. I love how Stevie still rocks the mic stand even though Rod has a free mic going. Always have a mic stand!

And yeah, Stevie would have to "camp it up" to compete with Rod but I don't want to see that. This pairing just icks me out.

I just can't stomach watching this. I'm sorry, I just take the music I love way too seriously to watch something like this. I'm sure there's a time and a place for something like this, but it isn't anywhere that I happen to be.

Maybe that will make Stevie hit the cities that they did not go to by herself.I hope.But probably not will happen,but we never know.Also I've notice most of the show are the weekend in which it should be.Thanks to Rod's management working the phones with the venues a way ahead of time.

Well the DC date is 3-4 hours from my home. I'm going, I have seen Rod probably in '99, he exactly what u exspect. I can't not go see Mama, I feel like she needs ours support especially during this time of grief over her mothers passing.

I was just thinking about you last night and giggling to myself about how you planned to call in sick so you could go see Stevie in person. You wore no makeup the day before and complained to a few coworkers how "lousy" you were feeling. I will always remember this. Priceless!
