Celebrity Column: Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks head to Nashville in July
12:45 AM, Feb. 24, 2012

Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks will bring their co-headlining “Heart & Soul Tour” to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on July 24. The revered rock singers first joined forces last year for a successful 18-concert arena tour.

“I couldn’t be happier to be back on the boards with Stevie this summer,” Stewart said in a release. “We had fantastic fun on the road together last spring and I’m thrilled at the chance to bring it to new cities and fans this summer.”
The pair’s previous tour featured 3-hour performances, with individual sets by Stewart and Nicks, plus a handful of duets.
Tickets for the Nashville concert are $52-$152 and go on sale at 10 a.m. March 2 through the Bridgestone Arena ticket office, all Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

I'm wondering what the the Rod Stewart fan boards are saying about this upcoming tour.I'm wondering if his fans are pissed because Stevie is coming along for the ride.Has anybody check over there.

Agreed. I'm hoping they come to Europe. Obviously I'd prefer a solo IYD tour here but I'll take a tour with Rod. I quite enjoyed his set at Hard Rock Calling. I'm partial to some 'Maggie May' and 'Sailing' after a few drinks!

No, but what is really gonna happen is you are going to have to attend a good friends wedding on the same day as the show or you'll be on vacation in Atlantic City the same week Stevie rolls into your hometown.

If she comes to the casino's with Rod on this tour I will go this time last year just couldn't do it will be cheap seats for me if I do go.I hope she gets a full set list but would rather have her just go solo she would be fine she could play arena's at $55 and $75 a ticket and sell out no problem.

If Stevie/Rod comes to the Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods. The tickets will probably run higher then if they play in Hartford or Bridgeport.I payed $196 for crappy seats the last time around.I'm not in the mood to shell out the same amount for a repeat of his show with a digest Stevie show.I probably go to the second level or the cheap seats this time around if I can't get good seats there.

I'm glad they will be performing in Fort Lauderdale after cancelling the tour "opener" last year. I saw the show in Tampa but they did not do any duets at that stop of the tour. Will be interesting to see how the set list changes, if at all.

I'm hoping they'll play in the Hartford Civic Center. Do they still call it that? No one seems to play there anymore. They all go to Mohegan. Hatford is just a hop, skip and a jump from my home but Mohegan, after a long show is a tiring and long, dark drive home thru the woods of Ct.

Hartford Civic Center is now called The XL Center .They got to make a stop in Boston.I doubt Worcester or Springfield will be on their list. The way it looks they will be no shed stops plus so that leaves out Mansfield and Comcast theather which was the Meadows theather also probably Jones Beach too.we will see.
