Stevie looks great on this pic with Sheila E. By the way, Sheila also rocks! I used to own one of her albums in the past ("Glamorous Life") but I appreaciate much more her later more jazz-oriented material.

i've not "dropped" this on here yet, BUT!!, i met Stevie in the Houston Hobby airport. i don't think she's likely to insist a store stay open after hours for her. in fact, she took a teddy bear out of the gift ship in the AP, n left an asst. to pay for it. She was amazing though. i followed her to her gate and her "handlers" told her not to take a pic with me. she said "would you like a picture?" i still treasure her head on my chest!

Like Stevie is really going to be running out to the fast food court at the mall.

It reminds me when Stevie & Sheryl Crow were on Jay Leno together. Stevie said something about going to the grocery store and Sheryl started laughing and said "Since when have YOU gone to the grocery store?"

I met Stevie in Sky Habor Airport in Phoenix in a gift shop too!! She was sweetie!!

That was priceless! But she wasn't necessarily wrong. She was thinking financially - paper money (cash) or credit card. It's not unlikely that she hasn't been to a supermarket in decades. The paper/plastic bag choice is one that just isn't in her realm of existence!

But as far as bag goes, I'd have to think she'd take plastic. I really can't see her with a paper bag.

I've been looking for it EVERYWHERE. I just assumed I was looking in the wrong places.... and so the search continues.
