I just listened to the 3 songs in Jondalar's first post but I only like Video Games.

Edit: I just YT'd her and I'm feelin' Born To Die, too.

I can imagine I'd like Off To The Races if I heard it when I was drunk and knew all the words. Don't really like the other two, though. However, she is incredibly beautiful.

Dark Paradise is one of the ones she wrote with Rick Nowels, I think. Ditto Summertime Sadness, which I'm currently obsessed with:

she looks like a cross between Sharon Tate and Julia Roberts...

Lana won International Breakthrough(?) at the BRIT's last night, I was so proud I honestly nearly cried, she looked so beautiful in her Vivienne Westwood gown, she is flawless!
She really seems to be finding her groove in the whole celebrity thing, I can't wait to see what is next for her!

I'm happy for her. It looks like Europe is really embracing her.

I've played her Born to Die album about a billion times by now, truly the freshest artist in music, so brilliant and beautiful.

Does anyone know where I can find downloads of her demos? Specifically Never Let Me Go and Kill Kill? Ta

Lana Del Rey is one of those artists My Wife and I discovered on a random music spree. She's right up my ally. Dark, moody.....I love her. I hear a lot of Bat For Lashes in her.

I love

Born to Die
Off to the Races
Video Games
Dark Paradise
Million Dollar Man.

I also caught her on Am. Idol.....loved her there too. Can't wait to see her blossom.

You should definitely check out some of her demos if you get a moment, they are just as good as the album. Which I'm still addicted to

Still playing Born To Die daily, still the best album of the year. And even though I'll be flamed like crazy for it, that's saying a lot considering how much I absolutely LOVE Nicki Minaj's Roman Reloaded. Lana is just so talented, without listening to the album on the way to work or elsewhere, my day just doesn't feel complete.
