Which would you rather have next - another Lindsey Solo Album+Tour, or a Fleetwood Mac Album+Tour?

As much as I'd like another Fleetwood Mac album, I'm realistic. I know a Lindsey album is more likely to appear before that, if the FM one ever does materialize. The rumours of another Stevie album also make it difficult to take a Fleetwood Mac album release seriously until the new album is in my hands, really.

FM......i don't see it happening again.......ever. sorry. An LB release, to me, is much more realistic.

Default LB Solo vs. FM

Let's compare:
10 or 11 LB songs on a new CD, reasonably priced concert tickets, great seats for the concert;
Or
5 or 6 LB songs on a new CD, over-priced concert tickets, poor seats for the concert.

The choice is easy for me. The choice is not as easy for LB and his heirs. LB's bank account is fuller if it is a FM venture.

If Stevie's going to bring stuff of the quality of IYD then I'd much rather Lindsey not go with FM. His solo stuff is miles ahead of that. If Stevie can bring stuff as good as Tusk or SYW then I say go whole heartedly into a Fleetwood Mac album.

Ugh. I thought it was a prediction poll. I DEF would prefer the MAC coming BACK!

My feelings exactly...everything you said. Plus, the cheaper tickets means being able to go to more than just one show AND it might mean we'll still get a chance to hear RAB live!!

That's what I want...but I believe it will be FM. I also think you're right about LB's bank account. Even if he's rich, he's a parent, so his kids' future will probably be his first consideration.

We have heard from Lindsey 3 times since the last Fleetwood Mac studio album. I'm ready to see where the Mac are these days. Plus, I want so badly to see the wrongs of Say You Will righted. Say You Will, while having some great individual songs, just cannot be left as Fleetwood Mac's final studio work.

And for those wishing for Buckingham Nicks... why? That's essentially what Fleetwood Mac has been the past 9 years.

and more IOOT live! and maybe there is slight chance we can hear One Take live (it would rock judging by the track-by-track video!)! and hear TTWLG live!

i guess i can live with some kind of BN re-release as long as they'd add at least some songs to the original BN and also do some solo stuff if they tour. plus that tour would have to be in smaller venues than FM. but SN dictates ridic prices for her tix so that would probably reflect in BN tix prices and i'm not that keen on that (although frankly i would pay ridic amount of money for LB solo anyday!)... if they don't tour then i really couldn't care less about re-releasing BN.

FM is my last option. but better than nothing.

i know my response is very different from most people wishing BN - but my reasons would be the ones listed above - smaller venues, more space for solo stuff (hopefully).

re album - BN vs FM - i agree with you. i'd actually rather have FM album. but BN tour.

Technically, maybe but SYW didn't scream BN to me in the way that Soldier's Angel did, in the way that made me tear up and made my ears happy. Just because FM is SnL doesn't mean it's the same BN sound - that sweet funkalicious California southern rock sound. Anyway, I want them to do the BN SONGS live even if it's within the context of "Fleetwood Mac" - though a small venue BN Tour is preferred. Plus, for a legitimate BN release - I would want the original BN plus any demos, outtakes or extras they could add and era specific pictures with some kind of booklet.

So, that's why.
