Thumbs up I heard it today!

I can't believe it, I've never heard Bombay Sapphires on the radio before, but I did today! I was putting new batteries in a little, cheapie am/fm radio that I take to the beach, & I was having a hard time getting it to start playing. So my husband starts messing with it & turns it on some country station, telling me he could only get country stations on it. He says that you're more then welcome to find a rock station. So I take it & start messing with it, I what do I hear, Stevie's Bombay Sapphires! And I never really knew this station existed before, so now I found a new radio station b/c if they play Stevie, they have me as a new listener.

That is so cool! I never hear stuff like that on the radio--here in Atlanta the only stations that play FM are Z93 (classic rock- you don't hear anything other than The Chain, GYOW, SYLM, YMLF, Rhiannon, Landslide, EO17, and Gypsy) and the two lite rock stations (94.9 and B98.5) will play Little Lies and Everywhere. No stations are playing any of the new stuff and I never heard anything from TISL. The radio here in Atlanta really sucks, IMO.

Any other Atlanta ledgies ever heard anything other than the songs listed above on the radio?

B98.5 and 94.9 Lite FM also play Landslide, and Silver Springs a lot...105.3 THE EIGHTIES AND MORE , plays a good bit of Stevie and Mac as well...

And if u wanna hear new mac in Atlanta listen to Kasey Kasem, the weekly top 40 on 94.9 they had peacekeeper on the last few weeks...and Z93 played Peacekeeper a good bit when it came out

99.1 WPLR in New Haven plays Dreams a lot, and some New York station I get plays Stand Back sometimes, but pretty much nothing made after 1983, which sucks. I hardly ever hear anything Mac/Stevie related anyways. That is, if you don't count GYOW, which i'm really sick of hearing...

I hear you there. I dont listen to much anymore cause basically the music today is not that great in my opinion, well of course except for our mac, and usually when you like a song, they tend to play it like every 20 minutes is seems...over and over again, until the moment you first hear the first notes you run to the radio and scream while you push the off button.

Mac: The Chain and GDW

Stavie: SDMHA and EO17...

Maybe I should have said that I don't hate GYOW, it's just that I wish that the radio stations would have a little more of a variety when it comes to the Mac/Stevie, than just GYOW, The Chain, Dreams, etc...There are a lot of good songs that never get airplay. Even Tusk for crying out loud! I never hear Tusk, and it's one of my all time favorites! Maybe I should request it..............
