TBH they could have meant within the context of the band and the people who help maintain them. And that my friend is about 150 people.

Seriously. When Stevie was on Oprah saying that she and Christine never left their hotel, I smirked. That hotel was hardly a convent. There were dozens of people on the FM crew to sleep with -- you'd never have to leave your room.

As for John and Lindsey. I'd think Mick and Lindsey would be far more likely lovers. And I'll note that for most of the SYW tour, when Lindsey slid over to Mick after being introduced, Mick would kiss him.

Oh, I should add that I thought it was really sweet in that murky Behind The Mask video when John initially (playfully) acts like he doesn't want to shake Lindsey's hand and then revokes the rebuff, when Lindsey takes it seriously. John kind of brings Lindsey's hand to his mouth to make up for the slight. Swoon.
