[QUOTE=equeen102289;1035588]When did the recordings for the Wild Heart album begin? I was under the impression that that album took less than 6 months.

The actual recording for The Wild Heart was 12 days

Very easily, they go in and record more than they need for one album. The songs then get grouped together with what sounds the best together. For instance the Rolling Stones' album "Tattoo You" was all left over stuff from the previous few albums. A couple of their other albums from that point are the same thing.
You go in, record 20-30 songs, then they put together a couple of albums. In 1973 Elton John recorded a ton of songs for his next album. When it came time to put it togther, he couldn't decide which ones to keep and which ones to throw to the next album. He felt they all went very well together. So he decided to make it a double album and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" was released.

I had a stevie dream last night about her doing cover songs.I was a Stevie concert at school or college gym with my mom and a friend. As I remember she did America's "Sster Golden Hair".

Hahahaha. Then Stevie had a 15 minute intermission we walked back stage and missed Stevie coming out.Ok then we went back to my seats then EO17 started. And I got up.

Hum I was hoping Stevie would do her moms favorite tunes.Where in the hell did Sster Golden Hair". come from.hahahaha.

Don't hide behind your hair. It's a bit of gold and braid.
