That's great news, glad to hear you are on the mend. It was very decent of you to come online and talk to us. And of course you should drop in anytime and help us with tabs and chords and guitar tech talk. A lot of us would really be blown away if you could.
Good luck man, take care
Paul

That's wonderful news - Neale on the mend, yay!

But Neale never did need to apologise!

Because this letter from Neale fills the board with Cotton Candy and Sunshine, naturally. IIIIIII. Excuse me. I farted a rainbow. The fact is that the so called "negative talk" was in relation to the complete lack of communication from Lindsey's camp in the form of either an apology or information regarding what's happening. The website still says postponed, for Buddha sake. This apology, no matter how grateful we are for it, doesn't change this fact. The fact is that Lindsey himself has said diddly squat about the tour. That's what people are upset about. If you'll read back, people have said that it wasn't Neale's need to apologise at all. He can't help his injury. What can be helped is the official news blackout we're in.

Yes! I'd like to reiterate that our 'negativity' was the result of our bitter disappointment at the postponement, followed by complete cancellation of the tour. As Silver Springs pointed out, we were angry and upset at the lack of information about what was happening. You have to remember, venues had no idea what was going on and often the only info that could be found was from this forum. For whatever reason, we were in the dark for quite some time and that was extremely upsetting for us fans who were so looking forward to seeing Lindsey live. We all wish Neale the best, a speedy recovery and hope the tour eventually crosses the pond. Our so called 'negativity' is not directed at him at all and I think we're perfectly entitled to be upset about the cancellation.

Dear Neale,
We are all I'm sure so glad to hear from you, that you are doing well. We all have been hoping to hear the good news and that is most certainly great news. Please continue to get better, surgery of that type is serious and we sure want you to get back up and on your feet again. Glad you have a great support system there with the boys and surrounded by those that love you.
See you maybe later this year..we are hoping.
Best regards,
PennyLawyer Detroit.

Silver Springs and Poetinmyheart - well said both of you! I can't add anything to your posts - just that you echo my sentiments!

You're all priceless.
We all feel "seen" and you aknowledged our dissappointment by your post, Neale, which wasn't necessary, but still is a very openhearted and gracious thing to do. Thanks very much for that. I bet all the people who met Lindsey in person, and you lads from his band, can easily see why replacement was not an issue. The cameradery, like Lindsey likes to call it, is great and if you pull out one of the elements things are not the same. I hope you are getting well soon, and work with him on short term, on the road or in the studio. As I recall, Brett, Walfredo and yourself are a tight unit, and very very nice and appreciative towards fans like us over here. See you somewhere in the future,
Greetings from The Netherlands,

Gerald.

This is exactly what I needed to read. After all of the confusion and negativity that I felt from the way everything was handled at the time, what with the minimum information given to us, and non existent input from Lindsey, had me really angry and a bit hurt. Thanks for sharing this Neale, it's great to hear that you're on the mend and I appreciate your willingness to get in contact with us Ledgies
