This doesn't have anything to do with me, does it? I know most people think I'm a 'he' even though I'm not (which is my fault, stupid username).

My 'people eye-roll kiss' post was trying to say 'Oh "people", they're the worst. Never mind, Mike, have a wee kiss from a fellow chiffonhead!'

I don't remember having any real cross words with anyone here. (The LB forum yes, ha ha, but pretty much patched up.)

Even though I don't know anyone here personally, I wouldn't hesitate to say that Mike is an exemplary Stevie fan and I appreciate his generosity and knowledge very much.

Confused & hopeful I've not caused offence somehow.

OK, I'm glad I brought it up then. It was an emoticon failure, engineered by me. I don't know how else to explain what I was aiming for, but it would have been like in conversation if you said 'People think I'm an asshole' and I would roll my eyes and repeat 'Oh people! Never mind about people, I think you're great!'

Again, I'm really sorry. I try so hard to behave decently around here.

Umm I think this is all kinda silly. I don't have anything against you, Mike...or anyone else in this thread. Really don't.

But the last couple pages of this thread have been all "people hate me" and "no they don't, we love you and the music you share" and I'm just sitting here like...wha? I appreciate the fact that you enjoy and want to share music. I love what you've shared. But it looks like this thread has taken a different direction. And the silliness of it is shown above in that quote.

I like you to Mike. No problems here with me. I don't post much here either well since in times past others didn't like how I posted my comments here (with the ....) which still doesn't make me happy. I think it was petty to make such comments. I didn't offend others I didn't come after other posters at how they posted there comments. Heck I didn't like it when others posted 'large' photos (banners in there posts). I could probably go on & on but I won't. I apperciate all that you've sent me & all the yrs during the days of the fanzine time too. Thanks so much!!!!

For the record I, and the rest of the mods, all love Stevie. None of us feel she should be a backing singer... I'm not sure where you got that notion. While Stevie certainly defines Fleetwood Mac, she's not the end-all for every Fleetwood Mac fan. Some people prefer Christine, Peter Green, or Bob Welch over her. There's nothing treasonous about that. And there's nothing wrong with adoring Stevie, but not adoring her every action too. I personally don't have blind allegiance to anything. But that's just me, every one of us here have different tastes, likes, and perspectives. And I think that diversity is a pretty great thing.

I don't know or care whether or not Stevie's songs were performed or recorded by Fritz. They may very well not have been. All I'm saying is that Javier Pacheco is not a reliable source, IMO.
