It was an accident, lol. I can be dense and say things that can be construed as filthy without meaning too. I'm too naive. That's why, lol.

Yup! Hence the third link in my signature.

Anywho, I designed it and had it professionally printed last year for our Ledgie Secret Santa. Then this year I added her IYD writings, spruced up the cover, and ordered myself a copy!

I got myself the new Fleetwood Mac coffee table book and the remastered Rumours 2 disc album. I got a wrestling DVD also.

My mom got me a $50 gift certificate to my favorite restaurant and $30.

I got my pastor's kids a game called Blokus Trigon. My mom got a robe, a glove/scarff set, a snuggie-type thing, and an 8 piece cookware set.

I just ordered that with some of my Christmas money! Have you listened to it yet?

Christmas was good this year, most of what I got was kitchen-related, but is exactly what I wanted! A strainer, grinder and slicer attachment set for my Kitchen-Aid mixer; a new set of pots/pans; some All-Clad measuring cups and spoons in odd sizes (like two-thirds, one-and-a-half, three-quarters) - and best of all - one of my own art projects was taken and professionally matted and framed. Oh - and a new stereo for my car!

It doesn't matter what Santa brought, even if our awareness of those less fortunate slipped because of excitement. The whole point of Christmas is a reason for us to get together with those nearest and dearest and spending the time with them that most of us lack during the rest of the year. You can't put a price tag on those silly memories that you cherish. Your Dad snoring his way through that one festive movie you watch every year religiously, or your sibling getting you into a headlock because they want the bigger piece of Christmas pudding. Okay. Maybe the last one was specific to me, lol. But we all have memories like that. And they'll last a hell of a lot longer than some silly toy or piece of "up to date" technology.

Exactly. Macfan, did you read mine? My family has stopped exchanging gifts, so I got nothing. Well, nothing MATERIAL. It was a fantastic Christmas, nonetheless. Maybe it's different, if people have actual needs....I can see how it would be. I'm only middle class, but I have everything I need. I don't need gloves, or underwear, or whatever.

Now if someone wanted to buy me a new car, that would be a different story!!!

Same here, Homer! I bought and received nothing this year in terms of gifts. The only thing we did was to fill one anothers stockings with junk (candy and such)... And I did buckle and send out about 30 Christmas cards in the post.

Yeah, I sent about 25 cards. My big mouthed aunt, 4 years ago, told everyone that ~I~ wished we didn't have to buy all those crappy $10-15 presents. We're on year 4 now, and most of them have thanked me, for instigating the no presents Christmas!

Underwear, bath salts, cologne....NO ONE WANTS THAT SH*T. Keep ur money in your wallet!
