Barcelona is fantastic - be sure to visit the gothic quarter and of course all of Gaudi's weird and wonderful architecture.

They put on a superb firework display on New Years Eve!

Wish I was going with you, I'm dreading NYE!!!!!

Have a fab time!

I am so incredibly jealous... Barcelona is my dream vacation. Like others have mentioned, Gaudi's architecture is a big highlight of Barcelona. La Sagrada Familia is the crowning achievement of that. The Gothic Quarter is supposed to be incredible as well. Post some pics here when you return so the rest of us can live vicariously!

Thanks for the tips. I'm quite ignorant when it comes to place to visit in Barcelona, so am devouring the Lonely Planet guide as we speak. Will give a full report when I get home in the new year

Also, loads of great places to eat all along Las Ramblas, and it's a great atmosphere around there!

Nope. I'm not winding down by laying here in bed reading Severus Snape fanfiction. Nope. Not at all. Because that would make me a geek. And I'm not a geek. <_< >_>

JTIS that I'm being dragged to the cinema in a minute by my sister. We're going to see New Years Eve. Call me a pessimist, but I feel that I may regret agreeing to see this.

For discussions not really related to Fleetwood Mac.

WTF is going on???

It must be all about that book: The Complete Works of Stevie Nicks that everyone wants to know about.
