This is a challenge of subjectivity - I see albums as singular bodies of work, and reserve any strict opinions of particular songs.

I guess I would tend to pick some concept albums, where all the songs have a theme-related association.

Purely random selections come to mind:

Captain Fantastic
- Elton John
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
Abbey Road - Beatles
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Beatles
Straight Up - Badfinger
Ziggy Stardust and Spiders from Mars - David Bowie
Woodface -Crowded House
Tapestry - Carol King
Cass Elliot - Cass Elliot
Court and Spark - Joni Mitchell
Blue - Joni Mitchell
Odyssey and Oracle - Zombies
The Forgetten Arm - Aimee Mann
Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
Pet Sounds - Beach Boys
Bellybutton - Jellyfish
Spilt Milk - Jellfish
Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters
Music From Big Pink - The Band
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

Brilliant choice! An underrated and relatively obscure album. Love it!

Hole Celebrity Skin
Hole Nobody's daughter
Fleetwood Mac Rumours
Pink I'm no dead

I think celebrity skin wins though, every now and then i go through a phase where that is all i listen to, start to end and back again. (In the notes Courtney thanks Stevie for inspiring her too which i always thought was lovely).

How did i forget Patti Smith Horses??? That album is perfection. Many sundays have been spent sitting on my bed just listening to that album. I adore Patti Smith.

Funny you mentioned Horses... that is the first album that came to my mind when I saw this thread.

Two other (semi-obscure) albums that I never push the "next" button for are:

David Bowie - Reality
Tom Petty & the HB's - Echo
