I don't necessarily agree that Secret Love doesn't translate well to the stage, but it doesn't seem to translate well to TV. I'm not sure how that could be, but I've never seen a televised Stevie performance that did justice to her live voice. I've often wished I could see the same performance live and then played back on TV to compare the two. I saw "Secret Love" in concert 3 times this year, and even the worst of those performances was significantly better than the best TV performance.

Stevies people need to consult The Ledge first in future, LOL ...As we do know best & are just as passionate, if not more regarding Stevie's recognition, reputation & album sale as they are/should be..

Got to give her credit for trying to sell this song (on various TV appearances), but, unfornately all of them have been lackluster. It's too bad, because we know her capability to be brilliant!

She was so off-key it pained me to listen.
Really, really bad. I don't think she could hear a damn thing (as Catdancer already mentioned.) It's not the song choice, or because it's TV, or because Youtube quality sucks - Stevie was off. Sad, because it's not a good representation of how she's been performing this year.

Excerpt from piece on Reece Mastin, Adelaide Now, 12/1/2011
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/entert...-1226210825796 KYLIE adores him, Stevie wants to do dinner and tens of thousands of teen and tween girls are playing his debut hit Good Night right now. The X Factor winner Reece Mastin is living the dream, somewhat sleep-deprived but determined to parlay his big break into a career. The signs are already good. Good Night has been one of the fastest selling singles of the year, with more than 70,000 copies sold - which wins him a platinum plaque. His upcoming concert at the Luna Park Big Top is sold out and his debut record is in the can and ready for release on December 9, in time to cash in on the Christmas ker-ching. Mastin's win has also given him entree to the rarefied backstage worlds of Kylie Minogue, who gave him a shout-out during her ARIA Hall Of Fame acceptance speech, and Stevie Nicks, who has taken him under her wing. Nicks invited him to hang out after her Sydney Entertainment Centre gig, gave him a gold crescent moon pendant and made plans to catch up for dinner before she leaves Australia. "I got to meet Stevie Nicks last night, she's amazing. She's given me advice, a present. She doesn't give these out to everyone. She's like my mum away from mum," he said.

From interview with Reece Mastin in Adelaide Now
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/ipad/r...-1226216517352 There are already a few people who have offered their services for co-writing sessions, including Stevie Nicks. "We went to her concert, she dedicated Rock & Roll by Led Zeppelin to me," Mastin beams. "She said she's keen to write with me."

So does Stevie just carry around a bunch of gold moons to give away in case she makes new friends? Too funny.

[Is it 10 by your count?]
Excerpt from the West Australian December 10, 2011 http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/ent...-y-confession/ Kylie Minogue is said to be a Mastin fan and he spent 90 minutes talking to Fleetwood Mac diva Stevie Nicks backstage at her Sydney concert where she gave him a special present - a 22-carat gold necklace with a crescent moon that she has reportedly bestowed on only 10 other people in the world.

!!!! its a nice song, but its definatly not a hit song that will draw people into buying tickets or IYD's. Its a darn shame!! and an absolute carbon copy from when TISL & they chose Everyday as the first single, there were a heap of great songs on that they could of chosen.. Unfortunately they once again dropped the ball big time.. & that is SOOOO disappointing to say the least.. end of rant!! lol,
