Well, he did shear it off himself - maybe he carried on doing that for a while after he initially scalped himself, thus the messiness!

He looks like he had coke bloat and, given the way CAH looked in the photos, those were some not so great times for him/them.

He did wear eyeliner during the Tusk tour, so it wouldn't surprise me if he had some on in the SOTM sleeve image.
