So if you record a country album, then you get a Grammy? It's that easy?

A lot of Stevie's music has country influences; she wouldn't be selling out if she put out an album that had predominent country leanings. It would essentially be country rock, which is style she already has.

I am equally irritated by her shilling for Katy Perry and Rihanna. Aside from my personal ambivilance about them, I don't see the musical connection between them and Stevie. Is she just glamming on them because they represent the popular youth market?

I would think she'd be referencing more (current) classic rock and roll artists -- but not sure who that would be. At least Lindsey is speaking about respectable new bands -- artists which I can clearly see why they caught his interest.
